Overview Best thing since sliced bread! Honestly, I can’t understand the negative reviews. Yes, if you use these as your primary reading glasses, you will be disappointed. Yes, if they break and you didn’t take the time to register for the lifetime warranty, you will be disappointed. Registration takes all of 30 seconds, which is actually longer than the time it takes to pull these out of my pocket, read some fine print and put them away. I have 20/15 far vision, but at age 51 find it difficult to read without good lighting and large print or longer arms. I have dozens of pairs of readers, but never seem to have them when I’m at a restaurant or grocery store. These things are so convenient that I no longer have to guess what my dinner bill is or what ingredients are in a package. I initially stuck the case to the back of my cell phone. It fit easily on the 4s without blocking the camera or light. After a few days, I realized that I typically don’t carry my phone all the time so I pulled the case off the phone case (it was stuck very tightly), removed all the residue boogers and have been carrying it in my wallet or front pocket when I don’t want to pull out my wallet. I get a few stares and questions from my server when I’m looking at a menu since according to my wife, I look ridiculous, while my daughter just rolls her eyes and says “typical Dad”. But at least now, I don’t have to ask my wife to read me the menu or take care of the bill. Edit: I read some reviews about difficulty putting into case and decided to make a video showing how easy it is to do. It is actually easier than the video shows since I was reaching over the top of my phone to record while balancing the phone under my chin. Overall Recommendation: Definitely worth the price, just make sure you register for the warranty ** I paid full price for this product. Note: I've only had these for about 3 hrs...but I am compelled to write a review. If you buy these expecting to have the same "experience" as your typical glasses...nope. When I first tried them on, I thought they might pinch too tight. Was about to set them aside and say...oh well, they will be my out on the town readers, but not full time. Luckily, I decided to keep them on a bit longer...cause after some time, they really do not pinch. Now they are smaller than many readers, so that is another thing to get used to, but the diminutive size and weight is amazing. They weigh nothing! In the case, they are slightly bigger than a credit card. You really can take these everywhere! The nose bridge has a sort of sandpaper grip which helps it stay put on your nose...and it (so far) works very well. What you do need to be careful of is knocking them off. If you wrinkle your nose a certain way, they may pop off. You may forget they are on, then rub your eyes and knock them off....that is just something to be aware of. It is a really interesting thing, but I do believe they will be my favorite readers..full time! The free replacement offer seems pretty cool too, though I have not read the fine print. Again, this is an early review, but I am quite impressed...enough to write a review on a Friday night!

My husband needs a reading glass when we go out to dinner to see the menu but doesn’t want to carry one. So these were recommended by his friend. He loves them and shows them off to more friends. They are light and sticks to his phone case so he doesn’t have to carry them. He is enjoying them.

I bought a pair of these from Amazon and the first week I had them a nose piece fell off. I was pretty disappointed. --Pro's: They're a great idea as I'm CONSTANTLY misplacing my readers but I always have my phone handy. I contacted the company and they sent out a new pair within a week. Free shipping and no return of the old pair. I looked around and found a great deal on several pairs (because it's not like my eyes are going to get any better ;) Great return/replacement policy. --Con's: Scratch a little too easy and the nose piece is a little rough. I imagine the texture helps to hold them on your nose, and if you're more careful than I am about how you use them the scratches issue shouldn't come up. People with a wide bridge to their nose might have trouble keeping these on (mine will pop off if I smile suddenly) but they're super flexible. A wide bridge person could wear these further down the nose but don't know if they'll find that comfortable. If you're constantly misplacing your readers these are worth the extra price; saving you the frustration of searching the house, again, for those "readers". --UPDATE after 1 year-- I purchased 6 pairs of these because I LOVE them. (Also given some away). I've had to replace 4 for broken nose pieces but their replacement policy is outstanding. They do scratch rather easily and I've come To the conclusion it's actually the case which scratches them, unfortunately. They're SO CONVENIENT on my phone case and iPad. I've misplaced/lost 2 pairs (my fault) but still feel these are a 4 star item due to their replacement policy. Other than losing them, the company provides replacements for defects with free S/H. If they didn't scratch as easy, and the nose bridge piece was more durable, they would be 5 stars. 11/14/16:GREAT stocking stuffer idea. The thinoptics website is offering the keychain option with 2 pairs and 15% military and educators discount! (I should probably buy stock lol). I did not receive a discount for leaving this review.

Love the compact style. Easy to carry in pocket, handbag or can attach to cell phone cover. I have received so many compliments on these!

These glasses are a favorite of my husband and many of our friends. It adheres to the back of a phone case and makes it incredibly handy when readers are needed. Highly recommend!!

i continue to buy them, i like them but they seem to break pretty easily. the nose clips seem to fall off.

Here's a product that does what it says it does, and does it well. I thought I was going to escape the whole bifocals thing, but then when I hit 44, my eyesight for reading got up and moved to another state! Suddenly I found myself needing reading glasses, in addition to my normal glasses. Like many people do, I started buying extra pairs to keep around the house, in my car, at the office, etc. Unfortunately, none of those pairs ever seemed to be with me when I was out and needed them. Enter ThinOptics! This small, thin, light pair of reading glasses is just the right size to go with you wherever you go, and they can even be used in conjunction with your regular glasses, assuming you don't mind how you'll look wearing two pairs of lenses. Plus, the company has great customer service. I bought my pair here at Amazon, but when I registered on the the ThinOptics site, I found that they were running a BOGO special. So, I wrote to them and asked if I could get the extra pair. With no hassle at all, they sent me another pair. That's customer service! These lenses really stay on your nose, but don't try to use them in an overly active situation. They're perfect for what they're designed for, but I'm not sure I'd try to wear them for hours on end--your nose might not like that too well. Pick up a pair, you'll be glad you did!
