These deluxe student editions of Shakespeare's plays are perfect for study. The books are beautifully set out with the original text side by side with a modern translation. The font size is clear and easy to read, the paper is of good quality, there is in depth analysis and explanations of the characters in the play, there are lined pages where one can make personal notes. The series is ideal for studying Shakespeare's plays be the person a beginner or an advanced student. Highly recommended.

I bought this version of the play because of having the side by side original and modern translation in the book. As well as thoughtful questions and answers about each scene and act. I am a paraeducator who works with students in high school that have IEPs. This version really helps my student better understand what is going on and their fore they are more able to complete the assignments for class. I have this version for this, Romeo and Juliet, as well as MacBeth. If you have a high school student who is struggling through these classics in English class I could not recommend them more. I also purchase the graphic novels of the books as well. It is a powerful 1,2, punch for helping those who need a bit more digest Shakspear. Because of these books I have also become a subscriber to the Spark Notes website. When you find a good tool you shout it out!

This book was perfect for my daughter as she was able to read it in its original dialogue and modern English. Therefore, I didn’t have to translate for her.
