Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation with SPF 50, Rose Ivory, 1 Ounce

I'm 49 years old and spent a lifetime wearing minimal makeup. I'm talking some mascara, lipstick and maybe a little bronzer. I quit using foundation when I was 16 and realized last summer that I'd better figure out how to use it again, because I NEEDED it!! Needless to say, learning about makeup at my age was an eye-opening experience, and it was startling to realize that so many foundations made me look so much OLDER after I applied them. So, it's been an ongoing search, and an incredibly frustrating one, at times. This foundation can be gorgeous and produce such a glowing, healthy look to your skin....but you really need to be aware of how you prep you skin and be aware of how to deal with it after it's on your skin. This foundation contains sodium hyaluronate (a form of hyaluronic acid) which is all the rage in skin care and it's now making its way into makeup. Which can cause some real problems if you're not prepared for it. If you live in a dry climate (I do) or it's winter (it is) then the thing that hyaluronic acid (I'm just gonna call it HA from here on) needs to work, which is water, is seriously lacking. It can still work for you though. Make sure your skin is well moisturized prior to application. I'd recommend skipping the sponge, although if you do use one, make sure it's damp....even just a touch damper than you would usually use it. I use a brush AND my fingers.....my fingers in areas where I want heavier coverage and buffing it on with a brush where I want lighter coverage. I also set it very lightly. It doesn't settle into lines and wrinkles like most other foundations. Now it's not going to smooth them out for you, they're still going to be there. What I'm saying is that it doesn't migrate and cake up in them. It sinks into the skin beautifully. The next step, for me at least, is crucial right now, since the air is so dry here. After I've set it lightly with a finishing powder, I hit it GENEROUSLY with a dewy setting spray. It has made all the difference. If it starts to feel dry through the day, I'll give it a quick spritz in that area and that seems to solve the problem. It wears REALLY well, I'd say 8-10 hours. The finish isn't luminous, it's more of a healthy glow that looks really amazing and just seems to get better through the day. I think this is going to be AMAZING this summer when the humidity returns because it's such a lightweight, moisturizing formula and that extra moisture in the air will make using this foundation a breeze. PLUS, I love the SPF in this. That doesn't mean I skip my regular SPF, because for SPF to work you've got to put on a certain amount.....and I don't care what anyone says, there is no way I'll be convinced that this is enough to provide adequate protection. But at the same time, I'll never say no to MORE protection. Ever. The coverage is what I would call a light to medium coverage. I can still see my areas of broken veins/redness peeking through where they are most concentrated. I ordered Ivory as I'm fair skinned (red hair, blue eyes, pasty white skin during winter) and the color match was good. Overall, if you experience dryness with this, don't be afraid to work with it to provide some moisture because the results are definitely worth it!!!

I’m very pleased with this foundation. I have a light complexion with cool undertones, and the shade works beautifully for me. It provides just the right amount of coverage while still looking natural and feeling lightweight on my skin. It blends easily, evens out my complexion, and doesn’t look heavy or cakey. I especially like how well it works on mature skin. It doesn’t emphasize fine lines or leave my skin looking dry. Instead, the finish is smooth, fresh, and natural. I’m very happy with this foundation and would definitely purchase it again.

Product is great. So many colors. Coverage was light but just enough to even out the skin. Easy to apply. Finish is flat. Not very dewy. My gripe was the special that was offered: Buy two, second one 50% percent off. To qualify the two items must be exactly the same. That was the only reason I bought two, but they were different shades. No discount. Thumbs down on discount offer.

I really love this eye perfect serum. It’s perfect for aged women. I dap it under my makeup and it hides the little under eye wrinkles I have. I can not go anywhere without using this. I misplaced it one day and I saw the difference of not having ie on. The color I chose matched well. It’s not too heavy or too watery. It’s just perfect. The name says it all. There is no smell, and I love the texture of this serum. The price is reasonable and affordable compared to other eye serum.

I thought the formula was a little too thin/watery side. Definitely on the sheer coverage side. It is moisturizing so I kept it to use underneath my preferred skin tint plus the spf is a huge positive. Applied and blended well with just using my fingers.

Obsessed! Perfect color match (used their website to find mine). Love the finish!!!! Looks like my skin just much better. I have a lot of redness and just a little goes a long way to covering the redness. Easy to apply. And doesn’t feel heavy on my skin, which I appreciate as someone who normally hates heavy makeup. This is perfect for me and this will be my go to from now on. Oh and the price?! Can’t beat it!

LOVE it. My skin loves this foundation. I use the foundation everyday and love the SPF that is included. I have very sensitive skin and I am prone to allergies, but not with this L'Oreal Paris age perfect foundation. It is so easy to smooth on, and is so affordable. So easy to use a little bit goes a long way. my skin looks glowing when I am wearing it. You don't even look like you're wearing makeup. Best by yet, will continue to use daily just because it makes my skin look great, and the added bonus of built in SPF 50. My favorite is also because after wearing it my face does not break out.

I have very dry skin. The L’Oreal Age Perfect serum doesn’t leave my skin feeling drier. It’s easy to apply and there is no noticeable fragrance. It’s lightweight but gives nice coverage. The quality is good for the price. I will be ordering another color. The one I got was a little light for my skin tone. I also have very sensitive skin and this hasn’t caused any problems.

Love this foundation! I have tried so many foundations and wasted so much money, so glad I discovered this! My skin is oily and also dry and break out prone. This makes my skin look amazing and covers so well.
