How do these compare with the Grand Concert and those ripoff, unreliable Vandorens?

The are not as good as the Rico Grant Concert series, but they are better then the Vandorens. My issue is that I am not sure they are the Rico brand as the title indicates, if you look at the box under the word Royal, it shows another maker, not Rico.

Are these a lot harder than the 2.5s or just a bit harder to play on?

When purchasing reeds, do they come with reed holders or do you have to buy those individually?

The reeds that I purchased came in plastic reed holders but I didn't buy a whole box. I'm not sure about reed holders if a box is purchased.
