SWISS+TECH ST50016 Polished Stainless Steel 9-in-1 Micro Pocket Multitool with Screwdrivers, Pliers (Single Pack)

I have had a Swiss Key for decades. It stays on my key ring and sees regular use. I wanted a small Plier, screwdriver, with NO knife that I could daily carry and take through TSA. I carry a real knife so do not need the garbage one on most mutitools. I looked at many versions and decided if I found one I liked I would just take my Dremel and cut the knife off. Most were too big/bulky/heavy or flimsy. The original of this, straight handle with screwdriver tip on ends, I had years ago and lost it. Jaws didn't fail and drop off, I carried it in my pocket. I just laid it down and forgot to put it back in my pocket on the AT. Hopefully a bit of Trail Magic and someone found it and is still using it. I like the curved handles of this one much better. Having 2 philips and 2 straight screwdrivers is a big plus. The handle rivets in mine have zero play, even after putting it thru it's paces on some pretty tight 1/4-20 nuts. I wanted to see if it would fail. Yes the indented rivet gets a lot of stress on the lip. I would have liked to have seen a solid head rivet or a solid machine peened type rivet for more strength. If mine does loosen I will just peen it before it gets too loose.I do not know what the nay sayers' 9in1 tools looked and felt like. I can only speak for the one I received and I find it to be a solid tool. It is too heavy for a key ring in my opinion. I am carrying it in my pocket or on an aluminum carabiner on a belt loop. FYI if you do not close the jaws fully there can be a small gap that is way too small to slip off a key ring. The thin bent piece of wire like they use at auto shops to attach a ref # on your key, is NOT a key ring, it is just crap. If you use one of those and your 9in1 falls off it is your fault, not the tool's.

The Swiss-tech tool led to a 20 minute interaction with TSA. It triggered the alarm on my second trip through at Houston after being missed when something bigger got me sent to baggage check previously. Luckily, I had timeto kill so was able to enjoy the process. 3 TSA people (yes, people,not ogres) had never seen one before and eventually I had to demonstrate what it was and how to operate it. We departed as friends while they gave favorable comments about the SwissTech Minitool.I did use it once on this trip as a screw cap opener when my hands were slick. It will never replace my Gerber full size multitool but it is an excellent compromise that can fly with me .

Good little tool that I have clamped on my keychain for work. I'd give it five stars if the screw drivers / knife could lock in the open position. I like the little wire cutter and stripper especially, and have used them often when stripping insulation for small very easy electrical fixes. Think 16/18 ga wire for thermostats, or similar for field fixes for my solar panels.Sometimes just having a small set of pliers on your keychain is the right answer.

Good edc tool for Keychain. A little heavier than expected but will hold up under job requirement

I actually really like these ones. The pliers open further than you would think and give a good grip. Regular and mini screwdriver is convenient. It is heavier than I expected and feels sturdier than I thoughts it would. Obviously it has its limitations but for the price and what it is I would say its pretty decent.

nice handy tool for camping or just to have in your office., or in your truck. 4 small screwdrivers that turn into 2 Big screwdrivers....or the other way...

Folds completely flat like a thick coin. Great stocking stuffer for the guys.

I've had Swiss Tech tools before and they are typically made exceptionally well. This one is loose and sloppy.UPDATE: I've ordered two now and both are extremely loose and sloppy. Not good quality like they used to be.UPDATE: I've now ordered three of these and they were all garbage. Loose, sloppy, won't stay on keys. Returning all three!

Useful tool

Ottimo multitool, cioè attrezzo multifunzionale, si apre, e si chiude anche. Non molto leggero e non molto piccolo o grande.

Handy and compact. A bit heavy, but very well constructed.
