Possibly the best thing ever...
Okay, I never thought that I would ever leave a review for a foot roller... But for the past 10 years or so I've had several bouts of intense pain from plantar fasciitis which I've had treated by a Podiatrist whom has given me cortisone injections, custom inserts, had me roll my foot on a glass bottle that was cold and also had me attend physical therapy. So basically I've tired everything short of surgery. Now I am not going to claim that I haven't felt some relief from the Podiatrist's options but none of them has ever lasted and some of them have been nothing but a waste of time and money (I'm talking to you custom inserts that did nothing). Also, none of my episodes have ever caused me as much pain as my current one that has been ongoing for the last three months. Then in a coffee induced bought of insomnia one night at three in the morning I was browsing Amazon (because what else was there to do) and this popped up. I figured for about $12 the worse thing that could happen was that I bought a piece of junk and it would be back to the Podiatrist for whatever his new recommendations would be. But here's the thing, I don't know what witchcraft was used to make this roller but it does help. When you look at it, it's nothing special at all. But I roll my foot from heel to toe repeatedly while I'm getting ready in the morning and the masochist in me seriously enjoys digging it into the sore spots. But guess what? My foot feels so much better and I've noticed that in the last three weeks my foot does not hurt when I walk. Like not at all. So it's been the best thing I've bought in a long time and the price wasn't bad. So if you've got plantar fasciitis, sore feet, or just enjoy a little masochism buy this, it's only $12 so you don't really have anything to lose. Side note- it does say you can stick it into your refrigerator or freezer to make it cold, but that's just not something I'm into because gross.

Pricey but works
I used to use a tennis ball attached to a string to massage the bottom of my foot. I don't like spending money for no reason. I had to use up my FSA money and thought what the heck, id give this a go. Better than I thought and much better than the tennis ball. Depending on how much Force you use, is how deep your massage would be. When I stand with my weight it gives a satisfying ache. A bit pricy for a tube of rubber, but if you have leftover FSA money and have foot pain , I'd say give it a shot.

Worth every penny! So helpful for arch pain, ankle/knee pain from misalignment
For context, I have chronic foot issues from a combo of high arches and Haglund's deformity from years of dancing and running. I have to be very careful about shoes, or else I get painful blistering that makes it difficult to walk as much as I need to in my daily life (I have to walk quite a lot). Often I end up wearing open-backed shoes or sandals that while allow my blisters to heal, aggravates my arches and throws off my alignment, leaving walking painful for a day or two, to several weeks. Needless to say, it's very annoying and impractical when I have a flare up. Recently, I decided that I had had enough of just toughing it out each time, and started looking into things I could do to help prevent these muscle strains/misalignment issues, and came across this roller. I wasn't sure if it would really make that much of a difference, but for me, I went from having foot and ankle pain that left me nearly limping, to being able to walk on it without pain in a couple of days. I like to roll my arches slowly for about five minutes on each foot-sometimes sitting, sometimes standing, depending on how much weight I want to put on it/how sensitive it is that day. Also, worth note, one of my relatives who suffers from foot/nerve pain in her feet from chemo radiation tried it out and immediately purchased one of her own because she liked it so much. All in all, if you deal with chronic foot pain from high arches, Haglunds, etc., or just really like a deep foot massage, I would recommend giving this a go!

This is the roller to get.
This Theraband roller is just right: not too hard and not too soft (though temperature will affect it) to massage your feet and promote myofacial release. The subtle ridges help you dig into the deeper layers of your feet and break up tightness or knots. You control the pressure and intensity of the massage by the weight/force you apply to the roller. You control the area of the being foot treated by the position of your foot and the angle of the roller. Great tool for a satisfying toe stretch too. The Thermaband roller is as different as day from night compared to plastic rollers. I find it much easier to target problem areas with the Theraband. In my experience the plastic rollers are either too soft, too hard, or too broad to effectively penetrate the layers of my feet. Consistent use of a Theraband roller has helped my feet feel better.

Good enough
Surprisingly good to use. It's not too hard or too soft. Just perfect. Would definitely order another one for myself

Not a big fan of this roller
Despite the many great reviews, this roller just doesn't do much for me and my plantar fasciitis. I wanted to really like it as others do, but I get much better relief from a small ball rolling under my foot (particularly a small green knobby ball you can find on here). With this roller, it extends to the sides of my feet and the fit causes there to be less pressure in the center of my foot along the fascia. It actually irritates the sides of my foot a bit. I don't think it's terrible and I do still use it from time to time just to switch things up, but I don't think I'd buy one again. Your mileage certainly may vary, and it seems to do well for many people.

This is wonderful.
This little foot roller is wonderful! You can even put it in the freezer for even more pain relief. I used mine after ankle surgery. I saw something like this in physical therapy. It’s a wonderful thing! It feels so foot as you run the bottom of your foot over it. Relives pain, helps with circulation too. I only wish it were longer, because as you’re rolling it under your foot, it seems to “ get away” from you, and you have to keep replacing it. Other than that, yes, I highly recommend this item. I am happy with my purchase!

Amazing
I've tried MANY different products for my plantar fasciitis pain - and this massage roller is absolutely incredible for quick relief. Over the past few days my feet have been hurting so much, I've gotten a foot massage, I've stretched my legs and calves, I've used different pressure application tools, I've put a cold compress and applied heat... This arrived today, I just popped it out of the box for a quick try - and in minutes I'm feeling so much better.

Sehr empfehlenswert.
