These glazed pecans were so good my husband & I were eating them nonstop as a snack every night! The pecans were large with a delicous glaze on top! They r tasty by themselves or in a salad!

Hard to find
The pecans are delicious but there are not many whole pieces of pecans. I am having a hard time finding them in stores. I love them so much i ate the whole bag.

Too Processed
Giving these a 3-star review is erring on the overly harsh side- 3.5 would probably be more sufficient. I have a salad I make- mixed greens, pan fried goat cheese, pomegranate seeds, and glazed nuts. It's a sweet and savory salad, and I decided to whip it up during quarantine (this was way back at the beginning of quarantine.) I had everything, but glazed nuts. I ordered these, although my first two choices would have been TJ's or making my own. TJ's was out of everything and I didn't have the ingredients to make my own... so Emerald brand it was. The problem I have with Emerald is they take what could really be a simple product and process the heck out of it. It's a shame. If you've ever made your own glazed nuts or have tried a less processed version of glazed nuts, you know what I'm talking about. This product doesn't taste like glazed nuts, more like processed candy. The oils they use in it take away from the more buttery, less sweeter taste that comes with processing less. I probably wouldn't use these again unless Emerald makes them less processed tasting.

My best description of the slight difference is these have a ...
Well, these are basically the same as the pecan pie flavor that was discontinued. Who knows why they wanted to change them and make everyone cry that they took away our beloved pecan pie pecans, but these are close enough. My best description of the slight difference is these have a dryer coating so they are less sticky and don't clump up, and they are likewise slightly crispier whereas you might have described the 'pecan pie' ones as slightly sticky/chewy, but with all that said, like they still used the same recipe so it has the same flavor, just baked slightly differently. OK I admit it, they are still addictive, but if I could get my hands on the old pecan pie flavor I would have to say they edge these out and I'd pick them. But lacking that, I'll load up on these.
