I found using plastic bicycle tire irons very helpful in removing the existing rail covers. My rails came with metric allen heads on the bolts, not torx T30 as stated in the instructions, so I bought a metric socket allen set, though you could just use the included allen wrenches. Allen wrenches are a bit awkward working close to the roof.

This is a very high quality item, very close to OEM and easy to install. I would highly recommend this product!

Some clips are broken!! I just manage to put it... the rubber on the edges was bad even the sides but i don't mind it since the product is there already i don't have time to return it and replace it. What i like is the product itself maybe because it' strong and can hold lot of lbs. If you are looking for perfect product this is not for you. But if you are ok for stable and strong roof rack then consider this one.

Excellent product. Documentation needs work. Would be better if you could have multiple mounting points for crossbar other than that great product. Also instructions doesn't mention it but I would highly recommend using loctite on the screws attaching the rail to roof.

Easy to install but 4 years later the coatings have peeled off leaving exposed, discolored bare metal.

Bought this as an alternative to the very expensive OEM rails and crossbars. Roof rails went only very easily with no issues. They appear very solid. I do like the black on my red CRV vs OEM silver.Problems occurred with the cross bars which is why I gave this 3 stars. They came unassembled, which isn’t a issue. However the instructions assumed the they were already assembled. Took a bit of playing together them together as I’d seen a couple of YouTube videos. However the cover plates for the inside of the cross bars wouldn’t fit. I had to remove the cross bars and try to get them to fit, but could only get 1 of 4 to snap into place. I’m leaving them off and will see how things go. I expect more wind noise. In the long run I might get set of Thule or Yakima cross bars now I have roof rails. Both Yakama and Thule are back ordered until September.

It was easy to install, did it alone with no help, probably took about an hour give or take a few minutes. It's very sturdy, I can be rocking it and the car itself will shake, not the rails. It fit perfectly, they were perfectly flushed with the car, as though it came with the car. It works impeccably. When I tell people I did a self installation they always commented that it seemed like the rails and rack had came with the car.

This is not for everyone to install the roof racks. It takes time and a knowledge of tools so you don’t damage the roof rack or the car.Once installed, it looks great and is very durable. The directions are detailed. The roof rack was very well protected in the crate and wrapped well.

Got this for my 2017 Honda CR-V. It fit perfectly and was fairly easy to install. It was a bit nerve wracking cutting the old trim off - once you install this, you can't really uninstall it since it requires a permanent modification to the car. But it went on easily and has been holding up really well. I used it for a 2-week long road trip cross country and it was perfectly solid the whole way. Seems to be holding up well to Canadian winters too.
