What the hell?
The long ones are stupid. You can't close your Leatherman with them in, and the short one didn't even fit tight. I JB welded it in just so I could have a philips. Don't do it. If you lose the original just start carrying a screwdriver around with it

Perfect for Leatherman Skeleton
Got these as replacements for Leatherman Skeleton. I lost original bits do to the way in which I open the pliers...a slight and very rare Leatherman design flaw. These are longer than the originals, which I didn't like at first, but discovered it was to my benefit. I can use the bits without opening it, meaning less chance of pressing the release button. 6 weeks and haven't lost them! Also, it gives you that extension so the tool itself doesn't interfere.

nice reach
I purchased these bits to use in my leatherman wave mt. The bit kit / bits that come with the wave do not give much reach. The two most commonly used bits (for me) are the phillips and flat drivers so this kit worked out great. Also this is the only way Ive found to replace the "standard" bits that come with your wave. The extend bits don’t fit when you want to collapse
It was an exact replacement for my lost pieces. The 2 extended bits make it more of all in one tool!

Okay
I purchased this after purchasing a much larger collection of bits. I should have purchased just this. I have a Leatherman because it is convenient. Having more bits does not make it more convenient just more things to loose.

Expensive Bits
Exactly what you expect; it's three driver bits. If needed I would probably buy again - grudgingly - as the kit is massively overpriced.

A leatherman wave and these basic tool bits should be the basis for everyman (and women's) toolkit / man drawer. I don't know what steel they use but the things never seem to wear out...
