Chromabright Ingrown Hair Treatment (3.28 oz) – After Shave Soothing Solution Ingrown Hair & Razor Bump Stopper, Relieves & Softens Skin, Dark Spots Remover for Face, Body & Intimate Areas

Sorry in advance this is a long post. Hopefully this will help those who have experienced poor results with this product and prevent future issues. My background: I have been using this product for roughly 10 years. I use it for ingrown hair prevention on face and body, pigmentation issues, and general exfoliation. I have PCOS, and other hormonal imbalance issues so unwanted hair has always been an issue for me. I purchased this after a coworker asked if I had hickeys all over my neck😭😩, yes I had cyst sized bumps and concealer made them worse. This product IS A MIRACLE! There are some instructions with the original formula packaging but it is very basic. PFB works using salicylic acid in 2 forms and other ingredients to cause chemical exfoliation, similar to the action a facial peel uses. That means when you put it on IT MAKES YOUR SKIN PEEL over time. This information may seem obvious to some, but is lost on others (see negative reviews). With that being said, peeling is a good thing that's what prevents ingrown hairs. PFB gives fantastic results but can easily cause irritation, burning, redness and unattractive peeling if not handled correctly. TIPS: NEVER put this on wet skin this can cause superficial burns that take time to heal, pain, itchiness, and irritated areas. LET YOUR SKIN DRY AT LEAST 15 MINUTES BEFORE APPLYING. If you use this after any form of hair removal and you are unsure if your skin will be sensitive, try a light moisturizer and again allow to dry completely before application of PFB. Originally the product stated to apply leave for 5 to 15 minutes, rinse and moisturize. You can do this if you desire only light exfoliation, otherwise apply a light even coat and rub into the area and leave on. I use within 2 hours of hair removal consistently. I have ZERO ingrown hairs or blemishes IF I stay consistent. I noticed when I first started using it that I would have peeling in any areas within roughly 2 days, worse after applying lotion it would quickly become obviously dry and peel. Unacceptably embarrassing, so I began using a good quality mechanical exfoliant and it cleared the peeling right up after the first use (I add a small amount of microdermabrasion crystals to my facewash because they are rounded and cause less irritation). I also take my finger and apply a tiny amount of PFB to any small blemishes and they are gone quickly. Finally use good moisturizer as a final step for consistent results but make sure it doesn't have retinol or a similar exfoliant at least until you know how your skin reacts with this product. After I started using it, I would apply rub in and and go to bed. My husband asked what the sour smell was about the third day.......ugh. Yes it has a kind of vinegar smell, it goes away but takes maybe 30 minutes. For me not a deal breaker and the source of some entertainment at times. Also the texture is kind of sticky for about the same amount of time it takes the smell to go away, still completely worth it. This works, it's worth every penny.

I’ve been really pleased with the PFB Vanish Chromabright Ingrown Hair Treatment. It’s easy to apply, absorbs quickly, and has helped improve the look and feel of my skin. I love that it helps address ingrown hairs while also supporting a smoother, more even-looking complexion. After consistent use, my skin feels softer and looks healthier. It’s a great addition to my skincare routine, especially for areas that need extra care after shaving or hair removal. Definitely a product I would recommend.

I waited to write this review until I’ve used this product for at least 2 months which I forgot to do so now I’m doing it at 4 months lol. I do sugaring for my pubic area and have always gotten bad ingrowns which is what led me to buy this product. Though this product hasn’t eliminated my ingrowns the number of ingrowns I get has decreased! I will say though my skin tone down there has brightened up! I think it’s a good value since the longevity of it is great, still have plenty of product left.

Definitely a repurchase. Less ingrown hairs. Does great existing ones. I also love the roll on application

This products works but if you have sensitive skin I wouldn’t recommend I followed instructions and put this on once a day on the bikini area a week after getting my wax. My skin started burning and I developed white heads, but the skin was peeling and it looks less dark . Beauty is pain i guess

I am an AAF who has had to struggle with unwanted facial hair due to medication I was placed on when I was younger. My skin was a total wreck under my neck, chin, and side burn area. The razor burn from years of shaving left incredibly dark marks on my skin which has caused me to wear make-up every time I leave the house. The ingrown hairs were EVERYWHERE, so much so to where the touch of my skin resembled sand paper... My skin was so bad that I didn't even wear my hair back and was great source of my self consciousness and sometimes depression. Through frustration and desperation I ran across this product on a message board and decided to give it a try, at this point I had nothing to lose. What I did with product: Now, I'll be honest, I know what the product says to do but what I did was different. I thoroughly exfoliated/scrubbed my skin with St. Ives Apricot Scrub BEFORE using PFB VANISH + ChromaBright EVERY MORNING and EVERY NIGHT religiously on the affected areas of my face AS WELL AS AFTER HAIR REMOVAL. I exfoliated my skin before hand for maximum absorption of the product. This is the only product that I've tried out of the entire line and have been doing this routine for about a week and a half going on two weeks. The results: The improvement in my skin was seen in as little as 3 days with the reduction of ingrown hairs NO JOKE. I JUST got this a little over a week and a half ago and as of today the dark spots have lightened CONSIDERABLY and now almost ALL OF THE INGROWN HAIRS HAVE BEEN ERASED!!!! I've actually worn my hair back at the gym without worry and I feel I'm on the road to recovery. I almost cried when I looked at my skin and saw the improvement, this product really works and I've even ordered a 2nd bottle. I'm not anywhere near running out of my 1st bottle but I wanted to make sure I had my new found staple product on tap. If I'm getting results this amazing in under 2 weeks I can't imagine what it will be like months from now!! By that time I hope to get laser hair removal and all of this (including the dark spots) will be a distant memory thanks to this product. Be aware that you will have some peeling but because I exfoliated with St Ives apricot scrub it was very minimal. If you're struggling with the same issues I think you should try the product and see what it does for you. At this point, what do you have to lose?

I’ve had issues with hair growing under my chin and ingrowns for the past eight years and I’ve tried everything including other products for razor bumps, and even birth control because I wasn’t sure exactly why I was having these kinds of flareups. NOTHING worked. After coming across this on TikTok, I decided to take a chance on it and I have absolutely no regrets. After about a month of consistent use, I did start to peel, but it honestly wasn’t bothersome and simply exfoliating and keeping the area hydrated helped a lot. plus, it’s a signal that the product is actually working, which I love. About two months into using the product now and I do not use it as consistently, but I do use it at least twice a week to keep up with my routine. As you can see, my skin has brightened significantly, and the dark ingrown hairs and flareups are almost nonexistent. I believe in about another two months I should be completely free of darks spots and ingrown, and I am absolutely elated. I’ve been so embarrassed and defeated in trying to conceal the area underneath my chin and I can’t believe I really found a solution that helps. Now this doesn’t work for everyone, but I absolutely would recommend to give it a try!!!

Ladiessss don’t walk run! Thats all I gotta say. It works fast. Bumps were gone on the first day and texture of my skin was baby smooth on day1!! dark spots minimised and faded drastically within a week of applying once a day after showering. Rub in your skin after rolling it on. Once you see peeling on inner thighs, stop using it from there if your thicker & your thighs rub tg. The 🐱 area sheds rather than peels. Keep applying once it’s shedding in that area until you’re satisfied with results. It’s great!!

The moment I stared using pfb , ain’t having no more ingrown hairs and it actually helps with the hyperpigmentation on my underarms. But this results is visible with consistency my underarms are brighter and helps with sweating and smell due thé hot temperatures

I use it around my bikini line, vajayjay, and underarms for pigmentation and there's no reaction apart from peeling and slight tingling. Peeling process took a bit longer for me than usual. Mine took 3 weeks unlike others were within a week. Some parts are now absolutely LIGHTER (same as my asian skin tone) but most parts are still on process. Will still give 5 stars as I know IT WORKS 👌🏼
