Meguiar's G17516 Ultimate Quik Wax, 15.2 Fluid Ounces

This stuff exceeds all expectations. No kidding. I bought a bottle at Home Depot, along with a pack of 11" x 17" (about) microfiber car drying cloths. What a combination! It takes just a few minutes to wash the car with the spray hose at the coin op car wash, and the microfiber drying cloths are the best things Iv'e ever used to dry a car. Literally, I can dry the entire car off in less than 5 minutes. Then, I go around the car with this amazing stuff. I spray a section, wipe it on, spray another section, wipe it on, then wipe off the first section, spray another section, rub off the second section....all of this is going on while I am moving around the car -- there is no "wait 3 minutes" -- not even any "wait 30 seconds" -- once you wipe this stuff on, it is ready to wipe off in like 5 to 10 seconds, no kidding. There is also virtually no 'resistance' -- it is easy on, SUPER easy off. No hard buffing or even hand resistance on the towel. Quick and easy is not marketing exaggeration. After the car is dried, it LITERALLY takes me another 5 to 10 minutes to quickly go around the car with this stuff, and it makes your car LOOK like a million bucks, it makes your car FEEL like a million bucks (that buttery smooth waxed feeling on the fingertips). Added bonus: I had road tar on my car because I recently drove on new construction -- the dried tar wiped off everywhere with a soft towel before the last wash -- no kidding - just wiped off with no solvent or anything. THAT is a smooth coat of wax. Just finished my first bottle and ordered another -- I will forever be a customer and fan of this stuff.

I love this stuff and use a lot of it, but not necessarily how the makers recommend. It actually serves many functions. For cars, I wet a microfiber cloth (has to be microfiber), then spray its contact surface with a few squirts of this stuff, then wash the surface of my car - any surface (including windows) except tires- then dry with a clean terry cloth towel. It safely cleans and waxes your vehicle, even when it is lightly to moderately dirty. Of course that won't work after you've been 4-wheeling or if you've not washed your car for six months; and, it is best to have nice base coat of Meguiar's ultra or gold class car wax already on board. This stuff will leave one of the best though not most durable shines of any product. There is, unfortunately, a clear and direct inverse relationship between car wax shine/safety and durability, in so much as the better the shine, the less durable it will be - every time, believe me. The longer lasting it is - and none of them actually last very long - the foggier the shine will be and the more likely it will be to leave scratches and/or haze. It's almost an axiom of car waxes. Forget what the ads say, I've been at this for 45 years with an open and experimental mindset. As a quick detailer, I spray 50 squirts into a 16 oz bottle, then fill it the rest of the way with water. It makes a perfect cleaner/polisher for almost anything - car detailer, polish for kitchen & bath tile, wooden cabinet fronts, mirrors, almost anything. I also make up a 25 squirt into 16oz water spray bottle to use as a cleaner/polisher to spray and then mop my laminate floors, or as a window cleaner and, dare I say, as a computer screen cleaner (terry cloth not microfiber here). Don't buy the Meguiar's ultimate detailer, since you can make your own just as I described above for 1/20th the cost. There are several competing spray waxes, but none come close to this product. I sure hope they don't stop making it. I bought 6 (free shipping) in my order.

In my opinion, this is the best quick wax on the market. You can use it in direct sunlight and it will not whiten any of your plastic trim. If you follow the directions, your vehicle will have a deep wet look for about a week (in dry conditions and paved roads) The water beads for about 3 weeks. So if you're looking for a quality in between waxing wax, this is it. I use Meguires gold class carnauba wax every 3 months, but wash my truck bi-weekly and use the spray wax every time. No waxy build up either. Make sure you do not mistake it for the gold class spray wax. You cannot use it in direct sun plus it will dull/whiten the plastics. Meguires ULTIMATE quik wax is just what it says. Ultimate !

Easy to apply and provides nice shine. BEST I have found for quick shine without white residue when it gets on plastic, which was always a problem with other waxes I have used. Only issue I have is that it doesn't have a long life on the vehicle and needs re-application fairly frequently. This is the same issue that I have with all other quick waxes however, but this one is very easy to use, and since it does not leave residue on plastic parts, it is my favorite wax. The four rating is based only on the life of the wax on the vehicle. Otherwise love the ease of use and quick polishing time with no concern about overspray on plastic. Super stuff!

Ever since I bought my new Acura MDX, I got obsessed with keeping it nice looking as I enjoy driving a shiny and clean car! Just like other reviewers noted, the wash mitt holds a lot of soapy water, which makes the cleaning fast and easy, much better than the old sheep skin type mitt. I've worked at detail shops a couple of times as summer jobs, and have had access to the world's most expensive wax ($40,000+) and everything below it. I've always used Dodo Juice on my car, and the beading was always perfect, but every couple of washes I would apply another coat. It is time consuming since I just want a quick wax. Then I found an article on Autopia regarding this quick wax vs Optimum Spray Wax/Car Wax. I am a fan of Optimum since their products work real well, and are very easy to use. So I got a free sample of the Optimum Spray wax, and did half of my car, and did the other half using Meguiar's. I applied each spray wax on the body, plastics, windows - basically everywhere. Since I can't do that with a regular wax, I was happy that this will cut out of a lot time. This past week it has been raining, and I am amazed at how wonderful each product is. I liked the Meguiar's quick wax much better because the water just rolled off while driving; there was some water left on the Optimum side. After applying the wax, it leaves a smooth surface, as if I had clayed my car, and it reduces the defects (scratches and other minor things)! It bead's water very well, and has lasted for a while (5-6 weeks). Next sunny day I plan on putting on another layer of this wax. This is the easiest and best wax I have used in terms of quickness, applying/removing, and price wise. Already ordered a case of this stuff!

The Ultimate Quick Wax is a decent product. I use it along with Uber rinseless car wash to clean the car one or more times per week. I used to apply the two products separately but then I mixed a few capfuls of the Ultimate Quick Wax with the Uber rinselss wash for a simple one-step clean and wax. The car always looks good with these two products. The only issue with the Ultimate Spray Wax is that it can be a little difficult to remove. Sometimes I see a haze on the finish and I have to buff it several times to get it off. The protection seems good, especially for a spray wax. Since I clean the car often, I guess the protection doesn't have too much time to break down. I recently tried a different spray wax and now I will continue to use that instead of the Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Wax; it's the Shine that Blinds by the Wax Shop. I couldn't believe how much brighter and sharper the reflections are after using the Shine that blinds. That is one product that truly lives up to its name! The Shine that Blinds is also much easier to apply and remove and the surface of the car feels much slicker than with the Ultimate Quick Wax. Of course, I will be trying Meguiar's new Hybrid Ceramic Wax as soon as Spring rolls around and I go through a complete car detailing (wash with aggressive soap, spray with iron remover and wax remover, clay bar, compound, polish, ceramic coating). I have been using Meguiar's products since I started driving many years ago. I keep coming back to them but the competition is really starting to heat up out there!

This is a pretty great wax to use on your car that you want to make a little shiny or stand out. I usually use this product every month or so after I was my car. The wax holds up pretty well for maybe 1.5 weeks to 2 weeks. It is really simple to use as what you only need is the spray bottle and microfiber cloth. An advice that I would give when using this is to do one section at a time as it may dry out quite quickly if you spray in large areas. Make sure to to turn to dry side of microfiber cloth after spreading the wax side to get that smooth slippery glossy finish. This process doesn't take long at all as it also doesn't require too much energy. It takes me around 15-20 min to apply to the whole car of my Mazda 3. Overall, this is an excellent product and something that I would keep buying. A bottle can last you a long time.

I have purchased it earlier too from.shop..I have been using this from 2014. Very easy to use & best product too.. Once you apply it well, it should last minimum 3months to 6minths and more Too depending upon the climate , where you park the car etc..Here in.Kerala monsoons , i.aplly.it before monsoon starts. And later it's very easy to clean mud,dirt etc..If you are washing your car your self use a waxfree liquid cleaner. My best recommendation is to tell your dealer not to apply.their wax after a car service. Ask them to apply this if they will oblidge Else you do it yourself at home..No need to spray too.much.. And use it under shade than direct sunlight. I used a sponge. Later just rub in circular motion with.a soft cloth..I keep this cloth safe under the seat in.a plastic bag.. Every morning, i will just blow off any dut in the surfaces and just use this cloth to wipe n give soft rubs. This keeps my car looks brand new and shinning. The best thing is when it rains, all drops will look.like big / small few drops..And with ine wipe with our palm.it will.all be gone.

This product was used to polish my car. It applies easily in sun or shade and is polished off easily leaving a brilliant shine. The complete car was polished in 15 minutes with minimal effort. Best product I have found to date. A bit expensive but worth it.
