I am looking for carbon filters to fit Watereise 32000 distiller. Will any of these fit?

They work well ,for around a month. So 24 is a two year supply

how many gallons will it filter?

Hello and thank you for your question. It will filter between 5 and 20 gallons of tap water, depending on the quality of the water. In parts of Florida I have had to change after only 5 gallons. In many other parts of the country it easily lasts 20 gallons or more. I hope that this helps.

What material are these made of? They're denser than filters I've used on the past. I have to soak them for a day or so because they repel water.

Hello,They are like tea bags, except a tad denser. Water flows through freely with no problem at all. No need to soak them except to clean off loose particles.The charcoal is wet in seconds if you just put it underwater.I hope that this answers your question.
