Natural Aluminum Commercial Cake Pan with Lid, Rectangle Pan with Lid Silver, 9 x 13

My wife bought this Nordic Ware pan to replace an old glass one that we’ve had forever, and it’s already become the most-used pan in our kitchen. She uses it for everything from baking brownies and cakes to roasting chicken and making casseroles. The aluminum heats up incredibly evenly, so she doesn't have to worry about the edges burning while the middle is still gooey. It’s got a really heavy-duty, commercial feel to it, and it hasn't warped or bent at all, even when we've had it in a hot oven for dinner. The absolute best part about this set is the plastic lid. My wife does a lot of baking for school events, family get-togethers, and neighborhood potlucks, and she used to struggle with plastic wrap sticking to the top of her frosting or sliding off in the car. This lid snaps on securely, and it’s actually tall enough that it doesn't crush her decorated cakes or brownies. It makes traveling with food so much easier, and we can just snap it on to keep the leftovers fresh right in the pan without having to dirty another container. It's also really easy to clean, though my wife makes sure we hand wash it to keep the aluminum looking shiny and new. For the price, the quality is outstanding, and it's easily ten times better than the cheap grocery store pans we used to buy. If your spouse does a lot of baking or likes to bring dishes to parties, this is a fantastic purchase.

This is a great replacement to the older cheaply made 9x13 pan that probably lives in many kitchens. The sturdy metal delivers consistent temps that makes cakes turn out much better than cheap, thin aluminum pans. The plastic lid gives good cover to protect and transport your dessert/meal. If your pans are old and crusty, these are a no guilt option.

Being from Minnesota, I have many Nordic Ware products - as did my mom, grandma, aunts, friends, etc. Some of my favorite kitchen products are Nordic Ware. I definitely recommend trying their products! I live in northeastern Minnesota & was bummed that I couldn't get to the MN State Fair to get their awesome fair special last month because they would've been perfect for my new air fryer oven (my big oven needs a repairman, so I got the air fryer oven for the meantime while I save up for repairs). I bought two Nordic Ware 9x13" straight sided cake pans (one with a lid, one without) because my old 9x13" pans have the handles & trim built-in on the sides that makes them just a bit too big to fit. These are perfect. I chose Nordic Ware because I know that I can count on the quality of the product, the value for money, even heat distribution, ease of cleaning, long lasting cooking & baking performance, etc. I haven't made brownies or baked anything in the new pans yet, but I have never had an issue with any Nordic Ware products in my 40+ years of experience using them. My mom's original Bundt pan & her Nordic Ware cake pans worked for decades, so I expect these will last a lifetime too. Most of the issues I have had with needing to replace a different brand pan is that the nonstick coating gets scratched & then flakes off- the Naturals pans don't have the nonstick coating, so they should last as long as my mom's pans. Heavy and shiny, I made sticky brownies in it and it cleaned like it was butter, the lid snaps on easily and keeps your food fresh, I have used it for cake, brownies and more, it's perfect and it's made of such good quality that I think I may buy a couple more.

This pan is pretty ok. I do like it a lot, and it bakes well and evenly and is a true 9x13" size. But the lid doesn't really stay on well as mentioned by others. It's ok to just keep it covered and go in the pantry or on the counter, but wouldn't be great for packing to take somewhere. The metal is thick, heavy-duty, and will last a long time. Like any aluminum, can be cut into with sharp knives, so be careful, but I don't think that will have major effects over the long term.

All my 9" x 13" aluminum pans had started to pit, over the 40 years from use, and needed to be retired. I bought this Nordic Ware 9" x 13" Natural Aluminum Commercial pan and it is the best!!! Also made in the USA. It did not pit when I made peach cobbler in it. I had previously bought a "USA Pan Bare Bakeware Traditional Aluminized Steel Uncoated Rectangular Cake Pan" here on amazon and returned it after it pitted badly from baking peach cobbler. Really. Yikes. What a disaster and totally unacceptable, so avoid that one and buy this Nordic Ware pan -- the "Commercial" pan --- and you will be pleased.

100% heavyweight aluminum pan. Great for oven use. Buyers should note that the dimensions are "close" to a traditional 9 x 13 pan, meaning it is slightly smaller. More like 8.75" x 12.75" - the lid is for coverage only. Not a tight fit.

I don’t remember the last time I had a cake pan. I’ve had to use other pans to make my cakes and they never came out right cause they weren’t the right size. So pretty much as soon as it came in, I baked the chocolate cake and it was fantastic. I love this pen and I love the cover!

Recebi o produto , mas a tampa é maior que a forma, fica frouxa, não veda bem, tenho várias formas dessa marca,nunca tinham me dado problemas, mas essa é a segunda que tenho problemas, fico triste porque dei de presente para minha filha e veio assim.

Fantastic tin for a large traybake and the fitted lid keeps cake fresh and is useful for transportation.
