Love this minced vegetables in exchange for rice

Makes for a great low carb filler to substitute things like rice. Doesn’t quite have the same texture as it’s much softer but still very good.

smells like corpses, vile! Luckily it's for my dogs as an occasional food boost and they love it! Cauliflower and broccoli are very beneficial for dogs-vitamin C and K and other minerals, just a flat tablespoon from time to time is more than enough. Had to take a star off though as the smell makes me gag.

This alternative to carb loaded rice is fantastic. Goes great with most things but I use it to replace rice in a homemade curry and to replace spaghetti in a bolognese. 2 mins in the microwave and its ready. Much healthier than lots of carbs.

Nice stuff very convenient

I did really enjoy this product, but lately it is barely riced! Probably won't be buying it going forward.

Every time I open a bag of this "rice" I am repelled by the overwhelmingly wrong boiled cabbage/cauliflower smell but then, strangely, that abates, and I go on my merry food-prepping way. Being minced up veg, the contents look a bit grim and grey and damp but once they pair up with a saucy something on a plate, this too seems to diminish. Weird!As a way of cutting down on calories and carbs it works fine although if you want a more direct substitute for rice you may struggle a bit until you get used to this stuff. That said, I have gotten used to it now and at a not-too-insane price and used in an ordinary, everyday, capacity, it works fine.

Hard, sharp, woody pieces in multiple batchesI've bought these regularly and used to really like them, but recently I've found numerous hard, woody/fibrous pieces in several different batches.Some of the pieces have been surprisingly thick and feel almost like wood shavings in the mouth. They remain hard after heating and I physically cannot chew them, so I've repeatedly had to remove pieces from my mouth while eating.This has now happened across multiple batch numbers, so unfortunately it doesn't appear to be an isolated bad packet. I don’t know what’s going on but I won’t be buying this specific product again sadly.
