Every time I open a bag of this "rice" I am repelled by the overwhelmingly wrong boiled cabbage/cauliflower smell but then, strangely, that abates, and I go on my merry food-prepping way. Being minced up veg, the contents look a bit grim and grey and damp but once they pair up with a saucy something on a plate, this too seems to diminish. Weird! As a way of cutting down on calories and carbs it works fine although if you want a more direct substitute for rice you may struggle a bit until you get used to this stuff. That said, I have gotten used to it now and at a not-too-insane price and used in an ordinary, everyday, capacity, it works fine.

Easy to cook low carb item, use all the time. Great with mince to make a chilli. Cheaper than supermarkets.

Have bought this before and it was fantastic but last batch has a lot of woody stalks in it .More of less each mouthful has woody bits in it .Shame, as I do like it but probably won't buy again

Makes for a great low carb filler to substitute things like rice. Doesn’t quite have the same texture as it’s much softer but still very good.

This alternative to carb loaded rice is fantastic. Goes great with most things but I use it to replace rice in a homemade curry and to replace spaghetti in a bolognese. 2 mins in the microwave and its ready. Much healthier than lots of carbs.

I have bought quite a few of these packets as they are tasty, high fibre and very low calorie, but on the last two occasions I have come across tough bits of stalk about 4/5 in each packet, its not nice to have to remove from your mouth and put around the side of your plate, hoping they sort the quality control out soon as they are very handy on a diet.

Nice stuff very convenient

Smells and tastes disgusting. Doesn’t remotely taste like cauliflower or broccoli. Waste of money to throw so when I start veggie soup making later in the year will add to that.
