Great for my needs! My first time using foil leaf sheets. I used this to patch up blank spots on my "holographic" snowsuit after it got damaged in the washer. (I found moth larvae nesting all over it...it was the only way I'd feel OK wearing it again) A little messy and fragile to work with, but I expected this. It stuck well to the gilding adhesive I purchased and the flakes easily filled in gaps/cracks as I "buffed" the area. Color was also as expected and was the closest match I could find to my silver-lavendar snowsuit--the purple foil blends in better when viewed from the other direction. I would buy this again for other craft projects.

I was struggling to find an ornate silver framed mirror for my bathroom. I saw a few on fb marketplace, but they were 100+ miles away. I ended up finding a brassy gold one at homegoods for $32 so I grabbed it and researched options for making it silver. I ordered 4 of these pkgs of 100 sheets because I didn’t know how much it would take since I had never used gilt before. I absolutely love how it came out. Using gilt is definitely messy, but it was super easy. Some of the reviews say these fall apart, but that’s pretty much what it’s supposed to be like so you can get an incredibly thin layer on and still have details show through. I will absolutely be using the remaining books of sheets to gilt other things. This is the antique silver. I’ve attached before and after pics. I did it while the mirror was mounted on the wall because mounting this beast was no easy task and going through that once was enough lol

Love the green color! This foil was fun to use, I still made a mess while foiling some bottles but they are beautiful now.

I am a bit upset that I purchased this 3 days ago at $5.38 and came back to buy a second pack because I ran out mid-project and now it's $7.18. At a little over 3" x 3" these are smaller than the standard 5" x 5" that all sheet leaf is typically sold, which does impact comparing prices. I do like the individual 'backed' pieces, making it easier to apply. However, over 90% of the sheets had multiple tears in them (perhaps due to the thinness?) so pieces separated when lifting the paper to apply. This caused a bit more of a mess than I'm used to with leaf application and required a second coat of size to fill in large gaps. Antique Silver is a little more 'gold' tone than 'antiqued', but only slightly. I'd been hoping for a grayer tone to match stainless steel and platinum, but tarnished silver actually does take on a bit of a golden patina. Overall fast shipping, good packaging and if the price doesn't go up any higher - a good value for imitation silver leaf.

I have bought countless brands of gold leaf. I figured they would all be similar in how they apply. Not this one. This is aggressively messy to the point I’d recall it. Usually when you brush away excess gold leaf it falls to the ground. Whatever this stuff is made of, it immediately begins to disintegrate, and it doesn’t fall to the ground, it all starts floating into the air, and it never stopped. I’m not kidding there are gold particles throughout my entire two bedroom loft. There are particles on my phone screen as I type. I took a shower and all of the gold glitter didn’t even come off at all. It even looks terrible once applied. Like it’s disintegrating in front of your eyes. I had to seal it immediately to do some damage control. I will NEVER be able to get this stuff fully out of my apartment. It will be here forever, I don’t understand how so much crap could float into the air on gilding one 6x12 picture frame. I demand the seller replies to me and remedies this. This is horrible.

This color in person is NOT at all blue in color. I was hoping it would be sort of aqua, or light blue, as the name CYAN would suggest. It is absolutely a grass gree color. Disappointed in the color, but Im sure I'll find a use for it.

Once applied, excess foil remains in small bits everywhere. No matter how hard u try, specks of silver everywhere. Spend the extra for better quality!
