When this arrived just before Christmas, the needle was stuck but seemed to free itself. I used it in the turkey but had no way of knowing if it was accurate other than the turkey seemed over cooked. It had indicated it needed more time so I kept putting it back. In the end I abandoned using it at the time. I have just bought a digital.probe and have found that to be accurate but the meat thermometer is wildly inaccurate by comparison. It was an absolute waste of £12.99. It is just past the return date but don't know if it had any guarantee.

Have used similar for several years - like to have 3when doing hog roasts etc so if 1 far out from others i bin . Bought this as " back ups " reducing in numbers . First time i used the probe became detached from the dial housing .

Absolute rubbish. Always over reads.Great if you want shoe leather. Not so when you want medium rare sirloin

Cooked leg of lamb whoch turned out medium and should have registered temperature of 175. Actually read circa 125.
