Great for high school or college age kid/adult that needs to learn HOW to learn. Helps time management, ideation, etc. This book and notebook.lm are incredibly helpful.

Some really good tips for helping your memory though can't say the mind maps have been that useful.

This is one of the better books on the subject of brain training. It’s a personal favourite and I have read it more than once. It has some exercises and discipline one needs to follow to become better. Not much different from a gym for the mind. IMHO this should have more favourable rating. This was last updated in 2010. So quite old but it’s more than worthy of its price.

Use your head is defiantly a useful tool for anyone looking for further understanding of how the mind works and ways to use it to your advantage. A few problems with this book is that Tony Buzan purposely skimps on sections such as speed reading, Memory Techniques and to a lesser extent mind maps. The reason becomes obvious as he mentions his other books available outside of Use Your Head, it seems that its hardly a comprehensive book on as he puts it a "manual for your brain" when information and techniques are purposely left out in order for the reader to have to buy further into the series should he/she wish to truly utilize some of these techniques. Specifically on mind maps i feel that any alternatives where ignored so that the only possible solution is the mind map which is conveniently provided as an application you can buy... The issues with the book has more to do with the selective use of techniques however that doesn't overly detract from the help the book can provide for numerous people

Che dire a riguardo dei contenuti? se non avete mai letto Tony, vi consiglio di comprare immediatamente questo libro, cambierà radicalmente il modo di organizzare le vostre idee/concetti e vi aiuterà a utilizzare con le mappe mentali tutta la creatività di cui siete dotati. un must.

It's an easy read for a complex subject answering difficult questions with simple solution. I will keep it by my side.

Amazing book. 10/10. I am an A-level student and this book is exactly what I needed. Will definetly be getting more of Buzan's books. It has been written fantastically well and clearly. Definetly worth a read.
