Is this one water resistant?

I have worn it in the shower. I was told the black tape is more water resistant but also that it is rougher on your skin.

I saw what looked like the same product from another seller, but they described it as: Kinesio Tex Gold FP (FingerPrint). Is this the same product?

Kinesio Gold (In the GOLD box) was discontinued in late 2012. It is no longer available. It was replaced with Kinesio Tex Gold FP. Kinesio Tex Gold IS DIFFERENT than Kinesio Tex Gold FP. The Gold FP is an IMPROVED version of the discontinued tape in the gold box. The new tape has better healing properties.

Does this have lines/guide for cutting

Yes. I use this tape weekly and the tape that is showing has marked lines that can be cut in the 5 strips that I need. Sometimes the markings are off slightly but I compensate for that by starting my cut slightly before the line. FYI I use it on my knee.

If one wants V type to tape, how to do it by this tape?
