Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation with SPF 50, Ivory, 1 fl. oz.

I'm 49 years old and spent a lifetime wearing minimal makeup. I'm talking some mascara, lipstick and maybe a little bronzer. I quit using foundation when I was 16 and realized last summer that I'd better figure out how to use it again, because I NEEDED it!! Needless to say, learning about makeup at my age was an eye-opening experience, and it was startling to realize that so many foundations made me look so much OLDER after I applied them. So, it's been an ongoing search, and an incredibly frustrating one, at times. This foundation can be gorgeous and produce such a glowing, healthy look to your skin....but you really need to be aware of how you prep you skin and be aware of how to deal with it after it's on your skin. This foundation contains sodium hyaluronate (a form of hyaluronic acid) which is all the rage in skin care and it's now making its way into makeup. Which can cause some real problems if you're not prepared for it. If you live in a dry climate (I do) or it's winter (it is) then the thing that hyaluronic acid (I'm just gonna call it HA from here on) needs to work, which is water, is seriously lacking. It can still work for you though. Make sure your skin is well moisturized prior to application. I'd recommend skipping the sponge, although if you do use one, make sure it's damp....even just a touch damper than you would usually use it. I use a brush AND my fingers.....my fingers in areas where I want heavier coverage and buffing it on with a brush where I want lighter coverage. I also set it very lightly. It doesn't settle into lines and wrinkles like most other foundations. Now it's not going to smooth them out for you, they're still going to be there. What I'm saying is that it doesn't migrate and cake up in them. It sinks into the skin beautifully. The next step, for me at least, is crucial right now, since the air is so dry here. After I've set it lightly with a finishing powder, I hit it GENEROUSLY with a dewy setting spray. It has made all the difference. If it starts to feel dry through the day, I'll give it a quick spritz in that area and that seems to solve the problem. It wears REALLY well, I'd say 8-10 hours. The finish isn't luminous, it's more of a healthy glow that looks really amazing and just seems to get better through the day. I think this is going to be AMAZING this summer when the humidity returns because it's such a lightweight, moisturizing formula and that extra moisture in the air will make using this foundation a breeze. PLUS, I love the SPF in this. That doesn't mean I skip my regular SPF, because for SPF to work you've got to put on a certain amount.....and I don't care what anyone says, there is no way I'll be convinced that this is enough to provide adequate protection. But at the same time, I'll never say no to MORE protection. Ever. The coverage is what I would call a light to medium coverage. I can still see my areas of broken veins/redness peeking through where they are most concentrated. I ordered Ivory as I'm fair skinned (red hair, blue eyes, pasty white skin during winter) and the color match was good. Overall, if you experience dryness with this, don't be afraid to work with it to provide some moisture because the results are definitely worth it!!!

I’ve been using Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed. The color match is perfect for my skin tone—it blends seamlessly and looks very natural. The coverage is just right: buildable without looking cakey, so it evens out my complexion while still feeling lightweight. The formula goes on smoothly and lasts all day without needing constant touch-ups. It doesn’t settle into fine lines, which is a big plus as my skin has some texture. I also love that it feels hydrating, so my skin doesn’t look dry or flat by midday. Overall, this is one of the best foundations I’ve tried for both color match and coverage. I like full coverage but I have decided that it’s time to slow down on the makeup and use way less. I’m 60, and I have a few fine lines that my makeup usually get into. All makeup is going to settle into lines and wrinkles. It just is. But this makeup does so less than nearly everything I’ve even tried. This makeup is very moisturizing. If you’re dry this will help. If you’re a bit oily in areas, like me, you will get oily during the day. Blot it. I got the lightest based on revues that said the lightest wasn’t super light. They are right, but it’s light. I think the next shade up would be better for my ivory skin with yellow undertones. It lasts all day and looks great and makes my skin feel great. It’s not full coverage like I’m used to and it makes me feel like I’m wearing a lot less because it seems light. I’m going to try the next shade and see if that works better for me. But all in all it’s a nice makeup if you have pretty flawless skin with minimal wrinkles and it’s also dry- this is for you!!!

LOVE it. My skin loves this foundation. I use the foundation everyday and love the SPF that is included. I have very sensitive skin and I am prone to allergies, but not with this L'Oreal Paris age perfect foundation. It is so easy to smooth on, and is so affordable. So easy to use a little bit goes a long way. my skin looks glowing when I am wearing it. You don't even look like you're wearing makeup. Best by yet, will continue to use daily just because it makes my skin look great, and the added bonus of built in SPF 50. My favorite is also because after wearing it my face does not break out.

I have deep pores and without a primer for pores this brings out my pores more. Great foundation for those in their 40's though. Light weight and not cakey. It is very buildable over a setting powder for highlights to stay as well.

*Using my husband’s account.* As a mom of two, I wanted something that would help simplify my morning routine. I scoured the internet for an easy to apply, affordable, lightweight foundation that would even my skin tone and hide redness. I love that this has spf! When ordering I was nervous about the color selection. I am fair with neutral undertones; thankfully the shade Ivory 10 is a perfect match for me. This does NOT give full coverage. I would describe it as light but somewhat build-able. It blends nicely when applied with a brush and does give a nice glow (but not greasy) to the skin. Perfect for a “no make up” make up look! I haven’t worn it all day yet so I can’t attest to its longevity, but I have had it on for about an hour and it hasn’t oxidized. It feels like I have on a heavy moisturizer that hasn’t settled into my skin, but it doesn’t wear as heavy as my previous full coverage foundation so I’m a happy camper!

It is perfect fior the older woman. It looks natural and feels fresh and clran allowing the skin to breathe and is very easy to apply

I have suffered from extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY dry skin for as long as I can remember. I have used every foundation under the sun that were all supposedly great for dry skin. No matter how dewy and glowy the foundation started, I would look flakey and dry by the end of the day. This is the only foundation I have tried that makes my skin look just as good at the end of the day, as it did in the morning. It is lightweight, and provides a light to medium coverage. Perfect for the everyday look. It doesn't settle into my fine lines, and looks just like my natural skin, with beautiful coverage. My only complaint is that it is slightly too dark. I am extremely fair, and the lightest shade is just a bit darker than I would prefer. Luckily it doesn't oxidize (at least on me), so what you see is what you get. I do wish that they would make lighter colors for us "ghost-like" ladies. However, this is still my favorite foundation I've tried in many, many years.

The texture is as good as usual and easy to have a creamy dewy finish!

I love this foundation as it glides on so well on the skin and I find it looks very natural on my skin. Also gives me the coverage I want, about medium, which is what I like. Skin tone matches perfectly.

Will repurchase again. Expensive, not drying on the skin to make your face feel tight. Nice and light weight

This is my favourite foundation for the winter. I have mature-ish (I’m 40 this year) skin and oily complexion. In the winter this leaves a nice dewy look. I have worn it in the summer but it just doesn’t work for me I get too shiny so prefer a matifying foundation in the hotter months. I’m not sure if the brand discontinued this product as I cannot find it anymore in the drug store but bought a few year on Amazon to stock up.

Loved it at first, but then I noticed that it seems to actually settle into wrinkles (especially if you set with powder) as the day progresses. Also very heavy on face. Supposed to be made for mature skin, but I'd save your money...there are better options out there.
