Honda Optimate 3

I'm using these to keep the batteries charged on two motorcycles and a Miata that are not daily drivers. Works very well and I expect to get Honda reliability. The no-name brand chargers are not worth messing with after a couple of them crapped out within a year, and I've been disappointed lately with Battery Tender also. Not to mention that expensive battery damage can occur.

I don't know who makes this for Honda but it is great so far. Hooked it up easily and keeps my generator (EU3000IS) battery charged 24/7. I unplug it and then plug it in two days later just because I am always working near it. Give it a rest that it probably doesn't need. Just me.Can't comment on durability but it looks well made and I am looking forward to it lasting a long time.Read some other makes didn't last but no such comments in the reviews for this one.

If you can't ride year round, you really need a charger/tender like this if you don't want your battery to die an early death. Easy to install, just put the leads on your battery and plug it in. When you're ready to ride just unplug and tuck the cord under you seat and go.

This charger works great. I've got several pieces of equipment/vehicles that get used sporadically. I picked up a 5 pack of battery connectors to use with this. Now I can just move the charger around and keep all the batteries ready to go.

I looked at the $20 and $30 chargers that promised to do the same thing. But time and time again, I saw how people had issues with the low cost battery chargers. Nobody complained about the Optimate. I spent good money on a motorcycle. I'm not going to cheap out to save $10 on a battery optimizer. This works, it's very easy to attach, and includes both the ring clamps and alligator clips. It is an absolutely top shelf product.
