This is an excellent ladle - easy to use, quiet when scooping the bottom of the pot and pliable enough to get every last bit but sturdy enough to get it to the bowl without spilling any. The wood handle is very pretty and comfortable in the hand. I'll be giving away my old ones as this is so much better!

Such a lovely ladle. It gives me pleasure to use it. Wash by hand, we have had it about six months and it still looks new. The scoop is perfect in both size and function. It looks classy, elegant and I think non-toxic. I appreciate its good quality. It would make a great gift too.

Very nice large ladle. I mostly use it to scoop waffle batter from bowl to iron. Would make an excellent gift with a mix or multiple matching Staub utensils.

Indispensable kitchen tool.

I bought this ladle to protect my La Creuset dutch oven from scratches. It is sturdy and looks good. I am giving 4 stars. because I have only used it once and it smells like chili. The silicone absorbs smells easily and I am currently soaking it in a vinegar and water solution to remedy that. Bummer that I am going to soak it every time I use it

You can always count on STAUB for high quality products. It would be nice for the ladle to be a bit larger like some of my other go to ladles. Easy to clean. Otherwise love.
