Does the refurbished GoPro Hero 4 Silver look like a brand new action camera, YES. Does it function like a brand new action camera, YES. Let me provide a better analysis. I mounted the camera to a Traxxas Aton quadcopter. About 100 feet up the quadcopter had a battery failure and started to return home. The transmitter was indicating no bars on the quadcopter battery. Which was very odd, since a minute before I had a fully charged battery. With 30 feet to go before landing, the motors cut off and the quadcopter along with the GoPro fell to the ground. A very dreadful ending to the quadcopter. Landing gear broke, 2 axis gimbal was in pieces and according to footage on the GoPro it went tumbling down the road around 8 feet from the crash site. When I looked at the GoPro I was amazed. The lens was pointing to the sky and when I picked it up, there was some dirt on the action camera, but no marks. Cleaned the camera up and conducted some tests on it. Videos and photo's were tack sharp and it functioned like it was never involved in a quadcopter crash. Wow, I'm sold and I just bought another GoPro....

After reading the negative reviews here I was worried about buying this refurbished camera. The camera arrived when expected packed in a secure brown box with a divider for the camera/case and another for the additional components. Everything was like new with no noticeable scratches or flaws. The waterproof case is identical to my original case. The additional components included a battery, mini-USB cable, clips and mounts. It did not come with a microSD nor was one expected. After charging the included battery I checked all functions of the camera and everything works as expected. I believe this is going to be a good replacement to my water damaged GoPro 4 Silver and I look forward to using it on my next snorkeling adventure.

First off I was pretty sure I ordered the version without the touchscreen. But maybe I didn't. Long story short, I now have camera with touchscreen. Which I have to say has turned into a happy accident. The touchscreen works well as a viewfinder. Plus there's the option to play back videos, complete with sound, right on the camera. And the most useful thing about the touchscreen is how much easier it makes changing camera settings. No longer must I try to read ar decipher the words and symbols on the postage stamp sized LCD screen on the front of the camera. The touchscreen clearly shows what setting is what, without indecipherable symbols. So far the only problem I have experienced has been the camera having SD card faults. I am yet to update any firmware so that may be an issue. But my original Hero 4 (without touchscreen) only has SD faults half as frequent. Still for the price, this is kind of a no brainer. A well made, high quality action camera for under $150. Seriously! I am considering buying another because I can buy three or four of these for less than a new Hero 7. And these Hero 4 cameras already do everything I need them to.

This was intended to be a B-Day present. Arrived looking brand new but was total junk! It did not work-at all. Would not even power on. I contacted GoPro support and they confirmed it was no good. Offered to replace (since it is certified refurbished) but this process would have taken several weeks. Returned to Amazon and bought my son the Hero5 Session (in store) and only increased my purchase price by $20.00. I will never purchase refurbished again from Amazon. If you are curious the Hero5 Session is incredible, works perfect.

Real hard to get WiFi connected to a app battery dies real quick not really a big fan of this camera when camera does work it has some good quality for its age should just save and get a 360 camera

This is my first GoPro experience and I am pleased thus far - small, nice screen, easy to switch between video/photo mode and easy to review photos and video taken. I've only used in conjunction with an underwater diving housing and selfie stick to video to take video in the lagoon out back of my house however I anticipate doing much more with it. Pleased so far.

I love my GoPro HERO4 silver edition! I've taken it on several trips and it hasn't disappointed thus far. The camera not only takes high quality videos but also stunning wide view photos. You would never guess this product is refurbished, it works perfectly. I highly recommend the GoPro HERO 4 silver edition to anyone that is trying to decide which GoPro to buy. The touchscreen LCD screen is amazing!

I was a little bit skeptical about buying this item because it is refurbished. I decided to buy it anyways and thought that I can return it if it is problematic. It was a good decision. I didn't see any difference between this and a new item. Except that I paid 50 bucks less! The camera is working great and I keep taking it with me when I go Kayaking.

Ho acquistato il prodotto soprattutto per immersioni Profonde.la gopro è arrivata in una scatolina di cartone bianca.dentro c e la gopro,custodia stagna con sportellino touch(se fate immersioni oltre i 5mt lo dovete cambiare) ,aggancio rapido,cavetto usb e due batterie (una delle due non funzionava,il venditore ha provveduto alla sostituzione ed il ritiro del fuori uso)tutto non originale tranne la gopro.la macchina è perfetta nessun difetto quindi contando che usata la trovi a 200-250€ il suo prezzo va bene considerando la garanzia di un anno amazon sul ricondizionato.Mi raccomando...accorgimento sulla custodia stagna(non solo riferita al caso specifico ma in generale)...prima di metterla in azione con la camera dentro fate delle prove a casa e in immersione vuota con della carta assorbente dentro se ci sono problemi avrete modo di verificare senza buttare l a tino cam..non si sa mai!

Prodotto conforme, unica nota negativa scafandro non idoneo alla profondità. Comunque per il prezzo è un vero affare. Consogliato
