I bought these having purchased another product that clearly was not lemon powder, this is great, slight bitterness that you should get, and a lovely lemon zing, smells great, tastes perfect for my meat rubs.

It may look at first as if this little jar is a rip off, but a teaspoonful added to a cup or bowl of soup rehydrates wonderfully to add taste, substance and nutrition. The flakes are small, but they have their purposes where larger pieces would not be ideal (e.g. as an instant additiin to soup, or to sneak extra vegetables into a cottage pie). I have used similar products from other suppliers now not available, but honestly think these are better. You will be surprised how many servings you will get out of the jar as a little goes farther than you would think. Turn a thin soup at work into more of a meal with no effort, add to savoury muffins (after a quick rehydration), add to stews, there are lots of possibilities. Larger pieces are better for some kinds of dish, but these have their place, and I am now ordering them regularly.

A very versatile ingredient to keep in pantry, ready to be added to soups, casseroles, rice, noodles etc, thereby adding extra nutrition. So far I have used them to enhance my instant Itsu noodles pot along with some chicken. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty they are & made my quick pot into a nourishing meal with hardly any preparation or washing up! I dropped a star because I feel that they are overpriced, but isn't everything these days? Highly recommended 😆 (26/10/23)

It smells and tastes very nice, I'm using it in cakes and porridge sometimes. Very flavourful

These are a real let down, taste quite false and overly sweet, like packet soup. I was adding to my home made tomato soup and it wasnt increasing the flavour, so ended up tomato puree/paste.

…means it’s less likely to absorb moisture. If you buy on bulk as I did before, it quickly ends up as an unusable brick. Tasty and very handy to have in the store cupboard as alternative or addition to purée.

Originally I was sceptical about the jar size. However, I read a review and you don't need much to pep up cous cous etc. I'd buy again.

If you do soups or make stuffing for poultry this is a really good additive . I really like it -- you don't need to use a lot as it goes a long way - recommend this product .
