This book has some nice pics, but very limited instructions. I was disappointed how very little I gained from it.

This book has a lot of techniques I never thought about starting with, there are also techniques that I have held onto and used with non animal paintings, but there are also a lot of skipped steps that are not explained that would also be REALLY helpful!!

It's a good book but it's quite expensive for what you're getting and the tutorials are not that explanatory.

I love this book but I bought one then a friend didn't know it, and she bought the same one.

Its ok, nothing to write home about, overpriced. Can learn more just looking online for free.

Good instructions , looking forward to trying some of the techniques.

Lots of Acrylic projects and easy to follow instructions and tips... The first book i've found which i can refer to for most things, with good detailed photographs and drawings.. an excellent informative reference book Ideal for beginner and intermediate painters

Some beautiful projects to choose from. The advice appears to be very clear, pictures show the progression of the painting. A good selection of subjects to paint in each category of oil, acrylic and watercolour.
