It does hold onto signal better but the effect is not astounding, Using it in car so can site higher up than my cupholder set up. Fast shipping, Quality product, very pleased but if you have no signel it is not going to change things. For that you will external mounted directional high gain antennas likely mounted on masts to get line of sight to a cell site mast and probably a signal amplifier. I could not use as a back up to my BT before as it would coninually frop in 4g but now holds 4G and moving the aerial around I can get a usable 5G signal too in an rea which does not show as usable on Vodafone map.

Bought as a backup for WiFi in a camper van. When signal is weak and reduced by having the WiFi device in the van putting this outside makes a difference. Will probably go for a permanent WiFi antenna in due course, but is a useful item until then.

Ran multiple tests without the antenna and SCORE is always 90 to 95 (HUAWEI Router Score) that it’s -87dBm average. Connected the antenna and average HUAWEI score goes 75 to 80 and signal drops. Not saying that the product is bad, just think that in my situation can’t get better signal.

Works with Three 5G home broadband Hub: Huawei 5G CPE Pro (H112-370) Bought this for the 5G home broadband to improve 2 bars to 3 bars when I move it to the 2nd floor, property "A" On the 3rd floor (the loft) in other property "B" the connection is way faster. So the connection is more stable but think height or near window is really the main improvement over connecting the antenna. For the 2nd floor placement (property A) the Antenna improvement seems to really be stability of 2 bars to 3 and minor speed improvements. from 222Mbps to 255Mbps. Will be testing when i move to loft/3rd floor in property A, with and without Antenna to.

Our place is a new build with triple-glazed windows and the whole house has always had signal issues but if you just stick this outside the window the 5G signal goes from nothing to full. It's not an amplifier so it won't do any good to just stick it near your transceiver. You'll want to mount this outside or somewhere with better signal for it to have effects. Edit: after a few great months outdoors the antenna seems to have failed. Their website and data sheet list nothing about indoor/outdoor use and seem to indicate this is for indoors only. That's too bad. If you mount it outside make sure it's in a weatherproof location.

Does make a difference to signal quality on UK EE

The closest Telstra 5G tower is more than a kilometer away from our house. Before connecting to the Panorama antenna, the signal strength showed on the M5 router was constantly changing between 2 to 4 bars, with around 80 Mbps download/25 Mbps upload tested speeds. After connecting the antenna, the router's signal strength kept steady on 5 bars all day long. The wifi download/upload speeds increased to about 260/50 Mbps. Now all our wifi devices are much more fast and smooth in any place of our house. TV images of 4k or 8k movies become sharper and more colorful. Please know, working frequencies of this antenna are 698-960 and 1710-3800 MHz. To avoid wasting money, you need to check whether the signal frequency of your mobile board band is within those frequencies (e.g. Telstar's 5G is 3500 MHz) before buying this antenna,

The only reason I bought this antenna is because a friend of mine that lived down the street owned this antenna. We both live in a small town and the best reception in this town is the AT&T tower . The AT&T tower is about 3 miles away and both of our windows face the general direction of the tower. The antenna worked best at the bottom of the window for both of us. When I read the reviews on amazon it did not look to promising but I saw the antenna in action so I took a chance. When I set it up I went from 2 bars to a solid 4 bars and I am getting download speeds now between 73 and 91 and upload speeds between 15 and 23. My ping is 28 to 30. Reviews are tricky when it come to antennas of any sort. To many variables. How far is the tower, where is your antenna set up, are there trees or building in the way, etc... Research and you will easily learn all you need to know on this topic.. Hope this helped. Enjoy!
