First of all, my pressure sores on my rear posterior went away after a few days of using this pillow. It is fairly firm, but not uncomfortable. After sitting on it for several hours it maintains its shape - this indicates a quality foam product. Nice zipper removable cover. There is a slight downward slope at the front which relieves pressure on the thighs for long term use. Price is a bit higher but after using it for a couple of weeks it is definitely worth it.

Wish I discovered this sooner frfrfrfrfrfr! I'm new to the donut-pillow world so this is my first one. I just got it last night (1 day with prime shipping). INSTANT relief for my butt bone. I've been limping around (for Months and months -- once could say for years and years because there were jobs I've had with Terrible office chairs and I bet this would have made a world of difference, had I known!!) I hope this review helps other people out there relieve their pains in the butt!! :)))))) I googled "deck chair pillow for coccyx pain" because my actual tail bone was Killing me and then when I stood up, it was difficult to walk because it was so sore. I sit at the computer all day for work ---- I paid over $200 for an ergonomic chair about 2 years ago because I thought it was the right thing to do when you spend most of your waking time at the computer desk ... every ergonomic chair needs to come with one of these. .......... ngl ... at first I was feeling 'old lady vibes' (I'm at the sensitive age of 42 cracking up) but after sitting on it / "in" it (LOL) ... I rock my donut pillow loud and proud . I also ordered a pink one (different brand -- not as quality-looking and coming from China so it's a 2 months wait --- putting that one in the car!) I feel so thankful that I have this one already because 'the old lady pains' are completely gone!! This little pillow is literal levelling up, life-changing for me so I had to write a review.

It works. Bought one, used it at work. I'm a therapist, sit down for a living with the resulting consequences. Ordered three more. One for my office chair at home, one for the living room, and one for the car. Figure the car one can be used for movies or stadium games to. Quality workmanship. Most pleased. Value is solid.

This product is a lifesaver. My body was in physical pain due to pro longed sitting. Back and neck were stiff and sore. This product solved all my physical problems and actually allowed me to sit for even longer periods of time (my employer should thank this product) as I’m now able to do more work due to how comfortable it is. I carry it everywhere and provides the adequate support in any environment.

Just a PSA I had tried something similar at a friend's house and I found it really comfortable. And I asked her where she got it from and she said Amazon so I was looking for a particular feeling and I simply didn't find it in this product. I liked the shape it came in but I did not find the material used was comfortable enough that you could sit on it for a long period of time.

As I was about to head out of the country for several months, I suddenly developed a frightening problem with my bum. Given that I would be having to sit for long periods of time while traveling as well as while working, the colorectal surgeon suggested, among other things, that I get a donut cushion. I also have occasional trouble with my tailbone when sitting for long periods. I wasn't sure how comfortable any of the cushions here would be, so I ordered two different ones in addition to the one my brother provided. This was far and away the most comfortable to sit on for hours at a time. The others slid around or pinched my upper leg after an hour or two. Highly recommend.

I find that the cushion gives me some extra comfort when sitting for a few hours while watching TV in the evening! It also helps with having ulcerous sore’s it helps relieve the constant pain that I am constantly dealing with each day!
