Straight lines and directions
I bought this mainly for work, and not for the orienteering aspect. The ruler portion is sturdy enough and the compass feels a little flimsy. Despite the flimsiness, it has survived several falls. Initially I suspected the compass' accuracy, but after comparing it with others, it's only fractions of degrees from being dead on. Good enough for government work, as they say.
