Sharpie Metallic Permanent Markers, 3 Count

I don't know how Sharpie does it - the company regularly updates and increases their (already extensive) line of available colors, while never sacrificing quality. From marker to marker and package to package, the consumer can expect the same ink color, thickness, and flow. Likewise, the size of the nibs remains constant no matter which color you choose. The ultra fine point creates an almost identical line whether you are using an original primary color, metallic, neon, electro pop, or 80's glam - and that remains consistent no matter which size nib you choose. The nibs do break down with use over time, but they maintain their shape and size surprisingly well - especially if you aren't heavy handed when you write or draw. Another fact that will not escape a serious marker or pen junkie? Although the color choice is now so large that it is difficult to locate the full range in one place, Sharpies are available just about everywhere! Even places like your local grocery store or the convenience stop/gas station you visit for coffee will usually help you get your Sharpie fix on! That, my friends, is AWESOME. In my 20 year Sharpie obsession I have yet to discover a surface on which Sharpie's fail to beat out every competitor - and this set of metallic colors isn't any different. I love that Sharpie keeps coming up with fun colors that will fit just about any purpose. All three of these colors show up brilliantly on black or dark surfaces - also working well on light surfaces, and absolutely the best for labeling items with attention-grabbing marks. From rubber to cloth, CDs/DVDs to painted surfaces, Sharpie's are the first indelible marker I reach for. The gold, bronze, and silver colors are strong and provide excellent coverage. These are an outstanding tool to add a special POP to any project - and since they write easily on vellum, I can see lots of invitations written with these! The reasonable price point makes these a supply almost anyone can afford. Long lasting and very low odor. Bottom Line: Three beautiful colors every Sharpie aficionado needs to round out their Sharpie collection. The colors aren't dull and boring - they are bright, sparkly metallics that really "shine" outside in the sunlight. These Sharpie's blow away every other metallic marker on the marker and they have a lot of ink, so you can write on many, many things (or make one gigantic Christmas/Honey-Do List!) before needing to replace. These tips are easy to write with/read, and are the perfect size to write on smaller and larger objects. (If you are needing to legibly write on a very small, curved surface or on pretty small tags, you may want to consider using the ultra fine point.) Off the top of my head I can't think of any surface they don't work well on - and the ink dries quickly. Perfect for home use and an amazing tool in the artist's arsenal. These aren't flat, "boring" metallic colors - I was able to use the silver and the bronze as a sort of "touch up paint" - their opaque nature makes them an obvious choice if you need to fix a small ding. (I'm *not* telling you to go use these as touch up paint on your new car. I am telling you this ink is spectacular for filling in a small chip or ding on your metal table - or touching up a shoe - or, after locating the correct color, filling in a tiny spot from bleach splash-back on your favorite Henley. Use common sense - I wouldn't use it on silk, your new car, or your significant others gold front tooth.) As with all Sharpie markers, I highly recommend!

Long lasting and great colors. Good value

These markers are great! The ease and smoothness in which i can write with is a great upgrade from others i have used in the past. These work exactly like a regular black Sharpie, including the annoying fact that the tip will probably mash down in time like any regular Sharpie. Regardless if you are careful and gentle with these you will find that these will last you a long time I was able to come to positive opinion about these markers by testing them are different colored papers and surfaces. My personal opinion is that the Bronze looks a little more like a Copper color but it could juts be me When using the markers the best background to use the silver one should be very dark or black paper, with the Bronze and Gold they should up well its almost all but i suggest not using bright pink as i didn't like how it came out Please note i was able to obtain this item at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review

These are marketed as silver, gold, and rose gold, but the rose gold is really bronze. The marker says bronze on it 🙄. Nice try jumping on the rose gold bandwagon... Whatever. The colors are nice and the markers work well as expected. Sharpie is high quality and always delivers a great product... whatever color it may be...

I use these ilon my son's backpack to label his name and class information. Works great on a black background. I also use them on my thin Bible pages and they don't bleed through. These metallics are great to add a little shine to my watercolor paintings too! They have a strong permanent marker smell but it does fade quickly. I did have to reorder because the first time they were all dried out but Amazon replaced them for free which is great customer service.

As an artist who loves all sharpies. This set of metallic markers are some of the best. For countless reasons that you can use a metallic look on paper and practically anything; these are the sharpies that are always in demand and constantly hard to find amidst the array of colorful sharpies. Especially good for dark canvas and plastic surfaces that call out the great effects that this set will bring. Not really made to touch up real metal; but rather bring the accents of metal to surfaces that are usually void of this added style for your needs. Love them. Get a couple of sets... like socks they tend to vanish from your cache!!!

These are Sharpie permanent markers. Although they have metallic ink, they otherwise work just as any other Sharpie markers do. They are permanent until they wear off or until cleaned with alcohol. We all know that Sharpie ink does rub off after some time. I LOVE the colors in the metallic package. The 3-pack comes with silver, bronze, and gold. The name of each color is actually printed on these markers so you can tell the difference between the gold and bronze (which look similar). They write smoothly and shine brilliantly on a variety of dark-colored papers and surfaces. I have not found metallic markers that write as well as these do. I will definitely be purchasing these again when mine run out of ink!

No suelo dar mi opinión cuando compro bolígrafos, lápices o rotuladores (y eso que son como una obsesión para mi). Compré estos rotuladores después de ver muchos tutoriales de dibujo, en los que ma mayoría de profesores recomendaban estos marcadores. Hasta ahora he usado muchos tipos de marcadores, rotuladores y puntafina pero estos, a parte de tener colores preciosos, son permanentes, y son super cómodos de usar, y pintan bastante bien sobre casi cualquier superficie. Un detalle importante es que hay que usarlo, forzosamente, en papel de gramaje alto, ya que en folios de 70, 80 o incluso 90gr traspasa cosa mala, manchando lo que tengas debajo. Me encantan. Además son rotuladores que no se encuentran en España con demasiada facilidad.

Tal vez existan otros rotuladores metálicos de otras marcas, pero si una marca ha ganado respeto en variedad y calidad de rotuladores es sharpie, y estos metálicos son una verdadera delicia para esa necesidad de tonos. Quizá lo unico que se les puede criticar es que su forma no es la mas ergonómica pero tampoco es para ponerles tache. Gran calidad de tintas o pigmentos reunidas en un pack a un buen precio.
