Hilarious and REAL!
When I saw a post about this becoming a Netflix show (like 8 eps or something), I noticed it was available on Kindle Unlimited so I downloaded it. I LOVED it. It was absolutely hilarious and I loved Ken but also rooted so hard for BB to get what she deserved from Ken! He was the complete opposite of BB and her past. But he was an awesome guy. This memoir is great, witty, honest and REAL. I recommend it to others, if you don't mind hearing about her sex life. Which is also strange when you think about it that you're actually reading about someones sex life, not some fantasized idea. But I loved her truth.

Hilarious
Why did I wait so long to read this book? I had such fun reading it! The whole book is written as two journals - one she intends her hubby to read, the other just for her. BB is a psychologist and trying to influence her hubby to do things like compliment her and get a tattoo with her name. The journals describe her dating/sex history with previous boyfriends and her current relationship with her hubby. So the book is her hilarious internal dialogue as she analyzes those relationships. The whole thing is very entertaining and I found myself barking out laughter randomly. Having read her very angsty apocalyptic Rain series, this book was not at all what I was expecting. So glad I finally decided to give it a try. By the way, I’ve watched Sex/Life on Netflix and there are some similarities but this book us very different and has a completely different plot line.

So many plot changes from the other books
I read all the other books in the series in the correct order wanting to get to know the whole story up until this book. However, doing that effectively ruined this book for me due to BB's inconsistencies. Knights birthday was not found out the same way, Harleys entire introduction, life, and tattoos were changed (his book he has a 100k car and this book he doesn't have a car at all, which is a major plot issue with his book), and I couldn't even read far enough to find out how she ruined Hans story. Also how much she claimed to love her husband yet she never just talked to him about things that upset her (has been married for years but didn't realize that he had to concentrate during sex NOT to come was the reason he's so unresponsive). She just seemed childish in her desires. I loved the other books but can't get on board with such massive changes to the stories.

So relatable...
If I wrote a book, it would be BB Easton's 𝟰𝟰 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝟰 𝗠𝗲𝗻. So I know Netflix coming out with Sex/Life today and seeing that concept brought to life is going to metaphorically ruin me.The book is a journal of sorts, and is Easton's memoir. She is completely in love with her husband Ken, but struggling to find intimacy and passion. She writes journal entries for Ken to find to help get her point across. Spoiler alert: it works like a charm.𝟰𝟰 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝟰 𝗠𝗲𝗻 is authentic if there ever is that in our romance novel world. It's easy to get lost in romance, but Easton's book is a masterpiece in relatable. We've all had the loves Easton details. We've all had the moments. And I'm sure all of our husbands drive us bonkers some times. I definitely know there are times when I know I love my husband more than life itself, but I concentrate on what's missing rather than the abundance I have. Add that to Easton's hilarious inner monologues, and you're in for a treat. And if you want more of any of BB's loves, she has standalone books on all of them. It doesn't hurt that the trailer for Sex/Life looks hot af. I can't wait to see it brought to life.𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 4.5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 3.5/5 🌶🌶🌶

3.5 Stars
I read this because I was intrigued by the idea of her writing an embellished sex journal to hopefully entice her husband to be more attentive. Plus I wanted the "real" back story before watching the Netflix series. This book has A LOT of sex. Like way more than I'm used too, and I read a lot of romance novels. I didn't realize that she'd be a teenager when she was writing about her first three relationships before meeting her future husband. One of the relationships (that wasn't with her husband) she was a legal adult but the other two she's 15 and 16, and it was weird for me. I don't have any interest in reading about teenage sex or teenagers in general (unless is in a dystopian fictional world) but I started the book and I have an insatiable need to finish a book once I've started it. Plus I wanted to see how everything worked out with her husband. I felt a bit dirty while reading it though, and not in a good way.All the parts about her husband I really enjoyed. I was surprised that she was a psychologist and couldn't figure out her husband without writing a very embellished sex journal. But I guess it's just more proof that we're good with everyone else's relationships but our own. I was always very please how she wrote all the descriptions of why and how passionately she loved her husband. And I was happy when they were finally able to have their sex life reflect that.Very good writing style and easy to read. I had planned on reading the other books about all the men, but now I might only read the one about her husband. I don't have much interest in the teenage sex or the bad boys.

44 chapters all about "Me".
I read the book after watching the TV series it inspired. I'm not sure which is worse. The TV series can be watched as pure fantasy. On the other hand, the book, is basically an exercise in onanism. It's all "me, me, me", from an author who appears to have never been told "no" in their life.No mention of the fact that illegal, underage sex, took place with no thought for the consequences. It comes across as a very selfish book by a selfish individual.

I laughed out loud and even read chunks of it to my long-suffering husband!
From a totally different generation to the author, I read the book having watched the TV series to see how she dealt with some of those incredibly intense, steamy scenes because – Heck! I wanna write stuff like that.Well – I found a few points of similarity – I can see where some of the ideas came from – but it is not the same story. No – this book is a shining example of a novel that would be impossible to turn into a film or TV prog as it stands – it is so much better than could ever be truly portrayed. The insights of this crazy girl with her steady, gorgeous husband resonated so much for me, I found myself reading chunks out to my husband, not to mention thrusting my Kindle at him to read the beach scene. I was laughing so much! This is not an angst-laden, intensely romantic and steamy Fifty Shades/Driven/Crossfire trope. This is the hilarious tale of a crazy, and I do mean crazy, sexually-aware as a teenage girl, now mother-of-two woman who has always been attracted to monstrous, if romantic at times, bad boys, actually getting the amazing, gorgeous, reliable, steady HEA with a guy who is sexually repressed.BB Easton totally nails the utterly unreasonable, irrational obsessions some of us females fall into about what our men should do to demonstrate their undying love along with the utter perplexity and insecurities our men experience over the whole thing.I loved it! It is a rare book that has me laughing out loud. If I had born into a different generation, I could have been this girl I reckon. Is it all true? – It claims to be. It doesn't matter - I choose to believe it is based on reality – some of it is just too real not to be.

Sex/Love
Sex/Life or as it was previously known by - 44 Chapters about 4 Men - is a memoir written by author @author.bb.easton about her husband and some of her ex boyfriends. The memoir follows BB as her husband finds her journal where she’s reminisced about some steamy sex with her ex boyfriends. After a rather unexpected reaction from her husband she realises she could use this journal to her advantage. BB begins to keep two journals, her true journal which reflects accurate events from her past and a “super secret” one where she embellishes some steamy scenes to gently manipulate her husband without him realising it.I wanted to read the book before watching the @netflix adaption and I’m so glad I did. The TV show is quite different and other than recognising some of the dialogue as a straight lift from the book the two could be mutually exclusive!I’m keen to read more from this author starting with the first in her new series taking an in depth look at the 4 men in her book - Skin.

Really enjoyed this one.
This was actually a really good book. I'd had reservations about this one if I'm honest. I've had it on my kindle for a long time but I decided to take the plunge.I'm pleased I did because this was actually refreshingly different and I loved it.I think everyone will be able to relate to the characters in this story. It took me back to being at high school and all the drama to go with it. God I hated those days. Haha.I laughed my Ass off at times, I cringed for some parts. But it's such a good story and very cleverly done.I absolutely love Knight he's my favourite character from all the men in the book. I can't wait to read his story.Well worth a read. If like me you've been putting off starting this one. Just DO IT I'm sure you'll love it.

Awesome, Hilarious and something all wifebots need to read
What an awesome, hilarious book. You had me spitting out my coffee all over my kindle as I laughed at your antics. I can relate to so many of your antics as I have done them myself (including breaking into a public pool to skinny dip at 2am). Should I put that in my review ... probably not. I loved this book hard. I enjoy someone who expands on the English language and I think many women out there can relate to the Husbot and hope he'll turn into the Husboner. Many will be making those super secret journal entries I am sure.
