These are by far the best reusable ice packs I’ve owned. Unlike standard ice packs that just keep things cool, the Arctic Ice Tundra Series actually freezes at around 5°F, so it’s designed to help keep frozen food frozen instead of just chilled. That makes a huge difference on camping trips, road trips, and long days with the cooler. I also love that there’s no melted ice or water collecting in the bottom of the cooler. They’re extremely durable, easy to reuse, and fit nicely around food and drinks. They do take a little longer to freeze than regular ice packs, but once they’re frozen, the performance is absolutely worth it. If you’re serious about keeping your cooler as cold as possible without the mess of bagged ice, I highly recommend these. They’ve exceeded my expectations.

I highly recommend these ice packs. Love these and that they are not filled with chemicals. We have two sizes and use them often. They stay frozen for hours at the ball field and keep things cold in our cooler.

These Arctic Tundra Series freezer packs have been fantastic. They kept my frozen food frozen during a cross-country road trip using only a mid-priced cooler ($65–$75), which really impressed me. I also used one on a trail ride, and when we stopped for lunch, the water bottles—started at room temperature—had actually begun to freeze. That says a lot about how cold and consistent these packs stay. They’re made from high-quality plastic that’s durable and easy to clean when not frozen. The integrated handle is a great touch and makes them easy to move and position in a cooler. One tip: if you store these at room temperature, be sure to put them in the freezer a few days in advance and set your freezer colder than usual. These packs are dense and take some time to fully freeze—but once they do, they perform extremely well. They’ve worked perfectly for my needs. I currently own three XL (5 lb) packs and four L (2.5 lb) packs and will continue to buy more as needed. It’s really nice not having to stop for ice every day. Highly recommend.

This ice pack melts 3 times faster than my cooler shack ice packs, I use both at the same time and both are the lower temperature ice packs. I have put this ice pack size large in a -10 degree freezer, 2 days later it is only partially frozen. My blue ice brand ice packs from walmart work much better than these do. These are a waste of money.

Some reviewers forgot about how physics work: when ice water melts, it keeps the ice bath at nearly exactly 0degC the whole time. This is because a tremendous amount of energy is absorbed as the phase changes state. The -15degC version of this ice pack will keep the surrounding area at exactly -15degC the whole time the pack isself melts. This means all your frozen food stays frozen, but it also means this pack is the first to melt. now that thats out of the way - this is a good ice pack; doesnt deform and kept all my ice frozen (as in no water at all on the bottom0 for a whole two days in a yeti ice chest. best part is the two smaller ones fit perfectly on the bottom of the tundra 45.

These things are great! They are so cold, your drinks will freeze in a good cooler!

Work extremely well! They do NOT deform from freezing. So, if you need accurate fitting, go with the Tundra Series. Worth the extra $$$!

The get very cold and will freeze whatever they are close to. The bad, they don’t last very long at all, I was able to get about 12-14 hours out of them and i had multiple other ice packs that were still solid in that time.

After more than 10 days in the freezer at -16 degrees celsius the cooling elements are still not fully frozen Are these faulty??

The delivery did come 2 days before my camping trip, which I nvr expect it to reach early. Though it said will be arrive on 3 Sep. Anyway the product is fine, lasted 48 hours.

These are very good for keeping frozen food frozen in cooler boxes. They do take several days to freeze. You do need to make sure you have enough of them, as one block will not keep a box (50 litres) of food frozen; it can not absorb the heat quick enough to keep the food frozen all day - I use a minimum of 4 off 2.5 lbs.
