This Fluval heater is a solid piece of equipment. I’ve had it running for almost 2 years now and it’s still performing like a champ — keeps the water at just the right temp without any fuss. The borosilicate glass design is a nice touch — it blends into the tank much better than those bulky, obvious heaters. You can still see it, but it’s not screaming for attention. The temperature dial is easy to use and overall it feels well-built and dependable. If you’re looking for a heater that just works and doesn’t make your tank look like a science experiment, this is a great pick. Its a good size, nice and slim and definitely worth every penny.

It works great and lasts longer than some other heaters. But like all heaters they do go out after some time. I like how easy it is to set but wish it had a digital display showing the temp instead but that’s a personal preference. The suction cups is amazing and I haven’t had any issues with them coming undone this is a big thing for me. I would recommend this product. Also it holds the temperature at the correct temperature that I set it too so no complaints.

I have a 100-watt M in a 9-gallon shrimp tank set at 72.5 degrees and it keeps water temp at 76.5 which is needed. My new 150 watt is set at around 80.5 and it keeps water temp at 76.5 and my Angel fish is content with good appetite. I own all three fluval heaters and fluval M has the best (profile) dam best looking heater out there I think, and closest wattage for my 36-gallon tank. Once you tweak settings you can sit back and enjoy.

After trying several different aquarium heaters, this Fluval M 150‑watt model is the only one that has consistently kept my 10‑gallon tank at the correct temperature. It heats evenly, stays stable, and doesn’t fluctuate the way other brands did. For a small tank that needs dependable temperature control, this has been the most reliable option I’ve used. For ambient air context, it's winter and the house dips to 60 degrees at night. I have a cover on the tank which is essential. I am taking off 1 star for the huge Fluval logo that really brings my tank down.

Love this heater, super accurate, works flawlessly, no fluctuations in temps in 20 gallon long tank. The blue light is not annoying like the old red ones, its also not very visible in daylight. Comes on and off with heater thermostat. I would definitely buy this again. Ive used a lot of heaters over the years, so far this one is very good.

I bought this heater after doing lots of research on which was the best for my aquatic turtle aquarium. I liked the mirrored look and that it would blend in with the aquarium. I also bought because it was submersible and had differing temperature settings. With that said, I'm extremely disappointed with my choice. It broke almost immediately?!? At least I'm guessing because I checked it only a couple hours after putting it in and found shattered glass on the bottom of the tank and the heating element exposed. Urrrgh!! Strange enough it still would heat the tank, thank goodness, because we had to leave for our family Christmas holiday. Came back home and the tank was not heated properly (about 15 degrees off) and no one could touch the water unless they had rubber souled shoes! I'm not sure when the heater stopped keeping the temperature setting but my turtles are still alive. Please be wise and save yourself the trouble of this product.

Better to buy a local heater from your near buy aquarium store .No proper warranty support provided by the co and seller in India .The co says to reach out to the seller to claim the warranty and the seller says one has to go to the co to claim the warranty . Beware all the aquarium enthusiast .
