MOOGK8653 Suspension Stabilizer Bar Bushing Kit for Ford F-250 HD

Had to modify the wrong part to make it work. The bushing is to tall,will not fit inside the clamp cradle.Had to saw off the bottom 1/2 inch to make fit, now it fits tight.Every part seller, even Moog said it fits. I can not find the Ford part, I do have the Part numbers on my Ford bushings. These will do for another 40 years.

Confirming that a set of the K8653 bushings will fit a 1993 BRONCO with 1" diameter front sway bar (most likely the same on all 92-96 years, and probably F150). The bushings are attached by a clamp secured by 2 bolts tightened down onto a bracket above it. REMOVAL of the bracket is the tedious part. BE CAREFUL not to break anything unscrewing the bolts, go cautiously (use some rust penetrant if they start coming off with too much effort). You do NOT have to jack it up or use ramps for this job! Mine required a 15mm socket and rachet to remove. My suggestion is to do 1 side at a time, not both together. I removed and cleaned the clamp and bracket before reinstallation. I also put some silicone grease in the "eye" of the new MOOG bushing, YMMV. Pull the new bushing apart (with force) and slip over sway bar. and then reinstall the hardware. Between removal cleaning and reinstall maybe a 30-45 min job. It's just tedious.

This item fit perfectly. I was surprised to see so much variation in the size of the bar (mine was 1991 E250 5.8), so measurement was important. I saw varities that Amazon said fit my vehicle ranging from 7/8 to 1.5, mine was 1". Easy job.

Fit my 1989 Ford Bronco XLT perfectly. Old ones turned to rock and made noise. Now the sway bar has all new end link bushings and these ones. Thanks Amazon.

Had to sand more than 1/2 in off the bottom.

Fixed my body roll I had on my stock bushings on my truck.

Perfect fit for 1994 Bronco. Was having trouble finding them in stock in my area and better price.
