Vehicle installed on: 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie CC Simply put: These guards fit nicely into the window channels in my truck. They slide in and out with ease without causing any damage to the window or the existing tint. When you roll the rear windows down, they stay put.. and they do slide up a tad when you roll the windows back up, but they do not slip out on their own. After noticing this, I put them through a few tests and I could not get them to completely fall out of the channels. The plastic tabs are long enough to keep this from happening. They also fold up very easily and stow away in the rear pockets of the front seats or (where I like to keep them) in the rear floor storage compartments. Basically, they fold up nicely ans take up very little space so they could be stored practically anywhere within the vehicle. They are the perfect (and cheap!) solution to keeping my dog's paws and drool off of my doors, especially the door handles. I would (and already have) recommended these guards to a few friends and family members and will continue to do so. The cost is worth every penny when you consider you will no longer have nail scratches on the door interior or drool/slobber in the door pockets. Two thumbs up here!

I bought this protector for my 2 big pitbulls. Sometimes they get excited in the back seat and start standing on the door and scratches it with their nails. I must say it is sturdy, it doesn’t fall off. The only thing is I noticed, when I rolled down the window all the way down and rolled back up it made a mark on window (not scratch). So I just make sure not to roll down window which isn’t a big deal. Also if u roll window all the way down and back up it gets a little off track ( but doesn’t fall off still) Quality of material is thick.

We bought this to protect the doors in our Grand Cherokee. The quality of the product is great. The pockets are useful but not as large as we would like. It does a great job protecting the car's upholstery from out dog climbing on the door to look out. The only issue we have it installation. If we put the plastic tabs in next to the waist seal on the windows,it stays in place but (1) no where for one of the tabs to go and (2) can't put up the sun screen. If it put t in the slot for the sunscreen it doesn't fit as well. In both cases, when the back windows are down the wind usually dislodges it.

The plastic tabs that insert in the window jam come out as soon as you put up the window and the guard falls off - isn't the whole reason for this cover to protect the door from dogs and therefore have the window down? I bought some of those "command strips" and pasted them on my brand new truck and on the door guard - they work pretty good, but my dogs have caught their feet/nails in the pockets and those are ripped now. Also, the very first time I used these, they came off when I put the window down, then while my husband was driving and I was stretched into the back seat, I reinserted them into the window jam, then they flew off and almost out the window on the highway because they are so lightweight! I put full bottles of water in the pockets to weight them down, but then my dogs feet got caught in the open pockets and ripped them! Still, they do protect the doors from dog scratches, they just look ugly and ripped now and needed alot of work to figure out how to get them to actually work (the command strips and bottled water)! They should have pockets with fold down covers and a velcro option for installation AND they should emphasize that you should weigh them down so they don't blow out the window. I made them work, but it wasn't easy.

Love this item. Paired with the hammock over the seats, the dog loves to look out the windows and I don't have to worry about the fragile leather on door panel. Just remember to remove them if the window going up or down, my own mistake I broke one of the plastic clips. Great product and looks good installed too.

I got these for my car and now have tried to use them in my 4 Runner....My biggest complaint is they just don't stay on the doors when the windows are open for the dogs.....One gush of wind and these covers fly off because the plastic tabs they used to slide into the window to secure them aren't very long, they should have been twice the length.... I have had them blow off and end up inside the car most of the time but one has blown out the window causing me to turn around in the road and go back and get out of my running vehicle to retrieve it.....thankfully the Police didn't see this, I may have been given a ticket for things flying out my vehicle....All it took was one good gush of wind and these covers are flying off into the dogs faces and also out the window... I wouldn't recommend them because they just don't stay on the doors, shame because they are stitched well, the materials used are really nice they dropped the ball on making the tabs that are suppose to secure them to the doors....Not good. The material and construction are good but the only flaw is they don't stay put if you plan on opening the windows halfway....I've resorted to using tape to secure them but this isn't what I feel I should need to do but have to do.... When they have blown off from the breeze thankfully they have stayed in the car and not blown out the windows....

These work good I have some trouble getting the tabs to slide down. Have to move them forward push down and slide back I bought to keep dog from scratching my door this has work great for that.

I liked the durability of the mats. Very easy to install and remove. Coverage is average. It doesn't cover the entire door and the width of it sometimes makes it hard to close the door without having some of the pad wedged in. I am NOT a fan of the lock tabs (the white plastic tabs). Mine have completely curved in 2-3 months, and I feel like over time they are doing damage to materials inside of the window. I also have not used the compartments to store stuff as I don't feel that mats are super secure. I am giving these mats away as a gift and buying a different brand with suction cups which I think will protect my car better without needed to take on/off after every trip.
