I bought this protector for my 2 big pitbulls. Sometimes they get excited in the back seat and start standing on the door and scratches it with their nails. I must say it is sturdy, it doesn’t fall off. The only thing is I noticed, when I rolled down the window all the way down and rolled back up it made a mark on window (not scratch). So I just make sure not to roll down window which isn’t a big deal. Also if u roll window all the way down and back up it gets a little off track ( but doesn’t fall off still) Quality of material is thick.

The protectors fit perfectly on my 2013 Jetta sedan's back doors. They have velcro strips on the back in case they are too big so you can subtract about 4" by folding a flap back for smaller doors (I didn't need to). With a bit of velcro, I can probably make this work, but like other reviewers have mentioned, the tabs that slide into the window bays do pull out when the window rolls up and down. I knew this when I bought these, so I will enjoy the challenge of "MacGyvering" my way around this project. No fault of the manufacturer, it just is what it is and there's really no other option. Velcro strips should just be included with the product maybe to counter the issue? Good protectors over-all though. Two thumbs up with a bit of enginuity.

Overall: A+ product. It’s durable, it’s easily installed and removed, and it fits and covers about 85% of the door panel in a mid sized SUV. It stays in place very well with the 4 plastic tabs that slide into your window, but be careful! This may not fit your entire door. And if you like to open the window all the way down, it could cause issues with the tabs as seen in the video. However, if you only crack the window half way, this stays on surprising well. Great color/look, just wish it covered my whole door panel because it’s a little goofy looking, like its pants shrunk in the wash or something, and that’s the only reason I deducted a star. Everything else is awesome!

The plastic tabs that insert in the window jam come out as soon as you put up the window and the guard falls off - isn't the whole reason for this cover to protect the door from dogs and therefore have the window down? I bought some of those "command strips" and pasted them on my brand new truck and on the door guard - they work pretty good, but my dogs have caught their feet/nails in the pockets and those are ripped now. Also, the very first time I used these, they came off when I put the window down, then while my husband was driving and I was stretched into the back seat, I reinserted them into the window jam, then they flew off and almost out the window on the highway because they are so lightweight! I put full bottles of water in the pockets to weight them down, but then my dogs feet got caught in the open pockets and ripped them! Still, they do protect the doors from dog scratches, they just look ugly and ripped now and needed alot of work to figure out how to get them to actually work (the command strips and bottled water)! They should have pockets with fold down covers and a velcro option for installation AND they should emphasize that you should weigh them down so they don't blow out the window. I made them work, but it wasn't easy.

These work good I have some trouble getting the tabs to slide down. Have to move them forward push down and slide back I bought to keep dog from scratching my door this has work great for that.

The item description should show/describe how the item is mounted. The item has four plastic tags attached to the top edge of the panel. The tags are about 3 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide.You are required to push these tags between the inner rubber seal strip and the inside of the window glass. If you have a wind down window with a small fixed 1/4 pane at the rear the tags cannot be slid down between the seal of the fixed pane and the glass (because it is fixed there are no gaps) and therefore cannot be attached. The tags may not be spaced to allow you to slide the cover along to even get three of the tags in place along the wind down section of the window I could only use two and the cover was just left hanging near the rear of the door. Also winding the window down and then up will cause the tags to lift out of place after a couple of cycles of the window. Product description should have contained an image of the rear of the cover showing the tags and also the measurements of the tag spacing so one could make an informed purchase. My sedan is a large sedan by today's standards, (a "compact" by 1960's standards!). The cover size was just adequate for my car, not perfect but I did not expect it to be when purchasing a universal fit item. The material is of a good quality . The colour blends nicely with my cream/ beige leather interior. It was a pity I was unable to use them.

I needed door protection on the quick for a trip I was taking. These came fast and have worked well. I was afraid of them scratching my window but they haven't. I've accidentally forgot they were there and rolled the windows down and up to Crack them to let some air through the car. They donot cover my door all the way there is a little left unprotected but this hasn't been an issue. I drive a 2023 outback so know they are a little short for that car. The spot that is not covered is toward the back of the car so not a place they normally put their paws anyway. The packets come in handy giving me easy access to their leash and doggie bags. They stay in place well. The tabs did come up some when I rolled the windows up but they still staid on the door. I haven't had one fall off yet and we have used them several times now.

I purchased this over a month ago and really wanted to like it. Mine did not include the velcro that some mention getting. I initially installed it with just the attached plastic pieces going into the window slot. Within a few minutes, they had popped out. My dog rides along in the back seat daily, and I was having to reinsert the plastic pieces after each trip. I then read some comments suggesting to try the 3M Velcro Strips. I installed two - one on each side of the door guard. Unfortunately, this tip didn't work for me, either. The door guard quickly fell off from the sticky material of the 3M strip. I dealt with this for a couple weeks, and then thought I would try putting super glue (Gorilla Glue) between the 3m strip and the guard. I applied a small dab on the back of each 3M strip, and then securely pressed the door guard against the glue. I let it dry for 6-8 hours before taking the dog on a car ride. It held up for maybe 1-2 rides, but ultimately met the same fate, where the adhesion would not stay between the glue and door guard.

Prodotto molto resistente e ottimo per la protezione del pannello interno della portiera posteriore dell'auto. il fissaggio prevede delle "alette" che si inseriscono tra il finestrino e il pannello della portiera e un biadesivo con velcro per far aderire bene la copertura alla portiera. ho evitato l'adesivo con il velcro per evitare di rovinare la portiera ma cmq le sole " alette" mantengono un buon fissaggio non permettendo alla protezione di cadere
