CONDITIONER NOT SHAMPOO
Left my hair lovely and soft after washing it (with a different brand of solid shampoo). Lathered up very quickly with minimal water and washed easily out.I have very curly hair and it left my hair with nice curls and didn't make it hang heavy or straight and stopped any frizz that normally arrives with just shampooed hair. Also air dried quickly to place back into storage which was a bonus. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a a plastic free alternative that works as well as most conditioners I have ever tried.Contrary to previous reviews please note - this isn't for cleaning your hair; it has a different use than shampoo, it will not act or feel like a shampoo. I do not subscribe to the curly girl way so I would not like to say if this conditioner works for those who do not use a shampoo like product before conditioning.

AMAZING
Absolutely love this. I've been using bar conditioner for years now and this has completely blown all others out of the water. It lathers up so so well (better than any I have tried before), smells amazing and leaves my hair so soft and shiny. I have naturally wavy/curly hair and it defines the curls really well and leaves it looking moisturised. I also have a skin condition which leaves my scalp very sore and flakey and this bar hasn't irritated or worsened that at all.

Great Price, Great Smell and Super Soft Hair
Since dying my hair I've found that I now need conditioner again (I'd been using shampoo bars without conditioner for a while on virgin hair without compromising it's condition). I was of course keen to stay plastic free, but didn't want to pay the £8/£9/£10+ price that I saw on most bars, given that I hadn't needed to budget for conditioner for so long.I was extremely happy to come across this reasonably priced bar, and even happier when it arrived and I tried it out. It has been several weeks now and the smell is so nice, and my hair super soft (even after multiple bleaching then dying). Definitely value for money as a little goes a long way.

Like using a block of lard to wash your hair.
Bought this as I love how argon oil shampoo moisturises my hair. I hate this it feels like you are rubbing lard on your hair and I found it was horrendous to wash out of my hair. My hair felt greasy and sticky. I had to rewash my hair to remove the products. It is terrible stuff. I have gone back to solid shampoos from China with argon oil in which do leave my hair feeling clean and ultra soft and shiny.

Very pleased
Used this for the first time last night, to be honest I wasn’t expecting much but was totally amazed by the results, ( I also use a goats milk shampoo bar )I didn’t have to use any products on my hair before drying, my hair was so much easier to brush no tangles, it dried with no static really soft and had a lovely smell. Will definitely buy again.

It's more like a lotion once wet
Coming from a white woman, early 30's with long thick hair. Naturally my hair will get greasy after 3 days without this conditioner. If I use it then I will have around 2 days. This will work better for other hair types.Imagine the dry ingredients of a lotion, you wet the outside and massage it to make a lotion you apply to your hair. I do not like the scent, I do not smell coconut at all. I only it every other wash. I will use vinegar (1/4 normal cheap vinegar to 3/4 water), that makes my hair soft and when I need a lil extra oil I will use this.It does not foam up which I expected. It is like dry lotion that you make wet and then have a thickish lotion to try and massage into your hair. Since it is thick, it is hard to get into your hair and you will find you use a lot more. I compare it to my shampoo bars which is the same size. So far I have used:10% of shampoo bar60% of conditioner barI find if I use it too much then my hair can get oily quickly.

Works in our fight against plastic & for a wife with high expectations
Budget price, works very credibly as a conditioner and for a user who approached it sceptically.Purchased with the focus on eliminating plastic but found to be a very high functioning product. It is simply put, equally as good as over priced, over priced plastic bottle versions we have all used for years.

Tacky and greesy feel
Leaves hair feeling tacky and greesy. Unfortunately doesn’t live up to LUSH standards. Worth a try. I have mostly virgin hair with some highlights, maybe better for dyed hair? Like the principle of the product just not the product unfortunately
