My family, who are all caffeine addicts love these. They go in every cup of coffee we make. They don't really change the flavor of the coffee, but gives a great extra surge of caffeine.

These are the same caffeine shots my daughter used to bring home from her job at the coffee houses. Couldn’t find them anywhere until I looked on Amazon. Theyre tasty and offer me the extra caffeine I need to get moving in the morning

Something to be aware of: There are 3 g of carbohydrate per Stok "shot." This matters if you are diabetic, especially if you are using several of them at a time in one drink (which most people would if they're trying to model an espresso drink from a coffee shop- all of them have much more caffeine than one Stok shot-see 2 paragraphs below for more info about the caffeine). For example, 4 "shots" = 160 mg caffeine, which is typical for some cups of coffee, but it's also 12 g of carbohydrate. To be honest, I'm not sure where the carbs are coming from if this is truly unsweetened, because I've never seen that much carbohydrate come from coffee beans alone. Otherwise, the flavor is good- not great, but not bad. They taste a bit sweeter and somewhere between medium and bold. They don't have a sharp, acidic flavor and it's not too strong/bold if that bothers you. These are likely decent to pair with any drink flavors because the espresso flavor won't dominate if you're worried about that. If you like something more sharp, acid and bold, you may want to get something else. Unfortunately, I haven't found something equally convenient with less carbs and a sharper and more bold flavor, which I prefer. These Stok shots are convenient if you're on the run a lot and don't want to prepare coffee, but want something pretty good with a caffeine kick that you easily modify by how many shots you add. Please be aware that one of these "shots" of espresso is more like 2/3 of the caffeine of a typical espresso shot. If you're used to getting a tall latte at Starbucks (2 of their shots), you'd need 3 of these Stok shots in one drink to get the same amount of caffeine. For a grande, you'd need 4-5 of these shots in one drink.
