It can hold sleeved cards if you get the right-sized sleeve (Standard American board Game Size). It will not, however, hold all 12 different decks if the cards are sleeved. I was only able to squeeze in 8.

Is this game compatible with the previously released Dungeon Mayhem?

This is basically a six-character expansion to the original game. The only key difference is that this includes rules for 5-6 players. Which are: you can only directly attack the player to your left or right, and once a player is knocked out, they still get to do one damage to any player on what was their turn (they can't knock out players though)

Is this an expansion to the original game or a standalone thing?

Stand-Alone, but I like it best when paired with base game.
