Sherpa Replacement Liners for Travel Pet Carriers - Soft Absorbent Cat & Dog Kennel Pad with Waterproof Backing, Machine Washable Crate Pads, 16.5x11.25in - 2 Pack, White, Medium

These little things are GREAT!!! These fit the 19inch pet carriers. I had purchased 2 of those for the kitties Apollo and Psycho. {Yes one is really crazy and he looks the part.. } Anyway.. that's beside the point :-) So I got this 2 pack of the liners to go in those just for their first trip to the vet. They are soft, the kitties like it. They seem to be well made. They do that the Velcro strips on bottom of both ends of the liner pads {it is the softer smooth side of the Velcro. They run across the shortest ends. Our pet carriers themselves,did not come with a pad/liner in them, nor any Velcro in the bottom of the carriers for pads. However, You can put some in your carrier if you'd like. You can buy some of the Velcro that is just the loops and either get some that is self sticking or if you have hot glue & gun I recommend getting some that is for fabric simply because of the fabric like backing on the Velcro {it will be white, or you can find some colored in some places.} I did use the clear glue stick in mine, it does hold and does work, until you try to pull the pad out to check and see how well it holds.. haha, it will pull it right off the bottom of the pet carrier. However, I will not need to take the pad out anytime soon to wash it or anything like that, so I am leaving well enough alone right now.

Updated: I just bought another set of these and they arrived with NO protective packaging. Previous purchases came in a plastic bag and then an Amazon package. There was NEITHER. There was a shipping label slapped on the cardboard sleeve, and the fabric was exposed. Thankfully the weather was good because if it had been raining the liners would have been ruined. Changing from 5 stars to 4 stars. I use this liner on top of the liner that came with my cat's carrier to protect it. The carrier was pretty expensive, and the bottom is a foam pad that is covered with Sherpa fabric. It's custom shaped/ sized to the carrier and would be difficult to replace. This liner is slightly shorter lengthwise than the carrier, so it doesn't provide FULL coverage. It is also just the Sherpa fabric and is not padded. It is just a liner. That being said.... It saved the padding and liner that came with the carrier, so I am very happy with it. My cat has periodic flare-ups of pancreatitis/ triaditis, so she makes trips to the vet in the carrier. When she's sick, she does drool, bring up bile, and occasionally spit out meds that the vet team thinks she swallowed. All of that mess stays on this liner and doesn't soak through to ruin the carrier's interior. Honestly.... I have never laundered these pads, so I cannot speak to how well they hold up to the washing machine. If they require more than a spot clean, I discard the liner and replace it with a new one. They come in a 2-pack, and I have purchased this twice. I would definitely recommend these liners for use similar to what I have described.

I keep a friend’s cat when she travels, and kitty gets carsick. I added Velcro and use the small one as a “barf bag” at the back of the carrier, easy to remove and wash. The larger one is the size you need even for a small animal carrier. They are washable and the Velcro holds well. They are thin, though, so if you are looking for padding, this is more a nonslip cover that is warmer than a hard carrier surface. Good value, no padding to speak of though.

I bought these to put in my cats travel case on wheels, she even gets in it now until I take her to vets in August. She seems to love it!

I bought these since I can no longer find the cut to size sherpa rugs walmart used to sell to go in their pet carriers. (We have a petmate pet taxi - small and the large just fits on the bottom. I do like that it is lined, so leaks will be contained. I have not washed it yet,but hope it holds up. Another review (not on this link) said hand wash but the instructions don't say so, so I'll let you know how it holds up. Right now my dog is attacking it and trying to throw it out his carrier. He of course stops the min I ask him what he thinks he's doing. Hopefully he'll sleep QUIETLY on it tonight. 05/28/12 UPDATE These liners have washed fine. We DO NOT put them in the dryer, but hang to dry and wash with cold water on a gentle cycle. After a few weeks of wondering why the dog's box was so smelly, we figured out he was peeing on these mats while his his crate and sitting in it because the liquid was going to the bottom and not making him too uncomfy. This is the ONLY reason we have stopped using the liners or any other form of soft bottom in the dog's box - it is hampering his toilet training.

Delivery went smoothly. Product is of decent quality. Could be used for other purposes besides in a cat carrier. My cats are older, so I would prefer something with more cushion. Delivery went good.

My kitty loves her Sherpa carrier and she will often cozy up for an afternoon nap around the house. I ordered these so that I could swap out the liners because I have had some problems with her having an accident on road trips, and I needed a backup liner while the dirty one was being cleaned. The liners are very soft and cozy, and they are a perfect fit for the Sherpa carrier. As far as cleaning, the instructions on my liners say to hand wash which is a bit inconvenient; I have always washed mine in the delicate cycle and then hung it to dry. I've never had any problem with the liner falling apart, etc. after being washed in the machine. I have noticed in recent years that the liners are now being advertised as machine washable, but I purchased mine before the change was implemented. Nevertheless they are a great product and my kitty loves the feel of them.

So I just adopted a baby bunny and I put this liner in her carrier when picking her up and she just loafs and relaxes on this liner and so when I got her home I decided to add this liner to her enclosure and she loooooves it. Great Product, my bunny loves it

So handy! So if you have a Sherpa dog carrier these are a must and make life so much easier. We've all been there when we go to use the Sherpa and realize that the liner is kinda gross but we don't have time to wash it, so having a few replacement ones is super handy. They are also handy to have on hand if you go on vacation with your dog so that if they muck up the liner in the Sherpa you have extra ones and don't have to worry about finding laundry services or washing it by hand in the sink while on vacation. These are as nice and maybe even nicer than the one that comes with the carrier and fit perfectly and secure to the velcro perfectly. They are machine washable, which, frankly, is a must for dog products. Highly recommend for anyone with a Sherpa carrier, they honestly come in super handy.

The quality is very good and they are easy to clean. I am so glad I bought these. My cat had surgery and when I took him home they said there will be a bit of blood and drainage. This saved the liner that came with my carrier. I could not clean this liner for a few hours and worried the blood had set. I just used plain soap and cold water and every stain came out. It looks like new again. They give you two liners so it is easy to replace one with the other while cleaning the first or if the cat pees. The bottom is waterproof.
