Is this the vented scleral cup inserter? or the non-vented one?

Non vented but you can cut the bottom off

Anyone know where to buy cheaper knockoffs? 4$ for a piece of rubber is quite a ripoff.

The DMV scleral cups are patented. Anything else would be an illegal product.

Do a search, as there are some that come with a nice carry case as well.

Would this tool work for inserting OrthoK lenses (which are much smaller in diameter?

I use mine to take out my Schleral lens as it is like a suction cup. Not sure how it would work for insertion. Ask in the eye dept at any of the chain stores if you don't get an answer here.
