Worked great for my 1000 piece puzzle! Easy to use and it kept things organized while I worked on the puzzle.

I have a 2.5 year old because of whom I cannot leave a work-in-progress puzzle incomplete on my table. Also, since I use my dining table as my preferred surface for puzzling, I found myself constantly having to move half completed puzzles, in a very tedious fashion, off the table at dinnertime, and then back on soon after. So, after long suffering this situation, I finally decided to invest in one of these puzzle mats. There are so many on offer on Amazon, and at such varied price ranges. This particular one looked promising, since it came at a comparable price for the size I was looking for, and had excellent reviews. I loves big puzzles, especially 1500+ piece ones, so I bought the 3000 pc mat to accommodate all my puzzling needs. Once I received the mat, I was very happy to see that the quality looks really great, and its design is well thought out. Also it is HUGE (apple in the picture for size comparison). It comes with the base felt mat, a black piece of rectangular cloth the same size as the mat, an inflatable tube, an air pump, three velcro straps, and a carry case. I have not done a puzzle in almost a year fearing my little guy will mess it up, and also dreading the cumbersome moving off and on the table. Now that I have this mat, I cannot wait to start puzzling again, and hope that this product is the solution to the issues I've had!

The inflatable part has started to lose air with time. Besides that, it works fine.

My mother has an affinity for puzzles. I was not lucky enough to inherit this trait, but I love the joy it brings her to work on a new set. “Would you like to help me with this puzzle,” she will ask me, knowing the answer will forever be a resounding “no.” Unfortunately, the three rambunctious felines who live in her home do NOT love the joy puzzles bring my mother. They do not even pretend to respect it. She will get a third of a way through a 1,000(?!) piece puzzle on her dining room table, only to come downstairs to find that it has been entirely scrambled. Destroyed. Harmed completely and irreparably by the cats. The construction of this? It’s literally just an inflatable tube, a large piece of felt, and a couple of Velcro pieces. It is so basic and so flimsy that we kind of looked at each other and had a chuckle. We could have just made this ourselves, it is so basic. And that my friends is the mark of a great product, because we did not make it ourselves. Gets the job done, five out of five stars, would buy again for someone who loves puzzles and has poorly behaved pets.

This is not non slip. It’s just a large piece of felt. Everything else is as expected.

I don’t care what any other reviews say, this is a slab of felt fabric so the dang puzzle pieces stick to it.

The moment the puzzle is placed on the mat , it immediately sticks.

I’m not sure quite what I expected, but not something that needed to be inflated for use. It was for a gift, and appears to me to be clumsy and awkward for use. Certainly the 90 year old recipient doesn’t appear to be using it.
