KitchenAid Gourmet Euro Peeler, 8.7-Inch, Red

This was a stocking stuffer for my wife. Before you condemn me as a senseless, stereotypical husband, you need to know my wife ASKED for this specific peeler. I went above and beyond to find it in red, her favorite color. The peeler isn't one of those old metal ones your mom used when you were growing up. It is actually comfortable to hold and use. My wife could peel potatoes for hours in relative comfort (not that I condone such behavior)! It has a large peeling surface, which allows you to get more peel with each pass. The blade is sharp (be careful to peel toward your buddy, and watch your digits... no one likes bloody taters). My only regret is that I didn't order the version of this peeler that has the cushioned handle. I thought it was a gimmick, but a soft and slipless handle would be next level. Still no complaints here. Solid, sharp, efficient peeler.

The KitchenAid Classic Euro Peeler is a fantastic kitchen gadget. It works wonderfully on potatoes and carrots, peeling quickly and efficiently without wasting produce. The pointed tip is an excellent addition and makes cleaning strawberries incredibly easy. It's sturdy, comfortable to use, and feels like a high-quality tool that will last for years.

Best vegetable peeler ever! I usually do not write reviews, but I have to tell you that this gadget is the best I've found. I love celery and always shave the stalks because don't like the strands. I have used other peeler, but the shavings get stuck in the peeler and it's a mess. This one doesn't do that. My favorite new gadget. Blade is sharp and shaves Peelings perfectly. Love it

This potato peeler works really well — it’s sharp, easy to hold, and gets the job done quickly. Just a heads up: the blade is serrated, so if you prefer completely smooth, flat peels, this might not be the right choice for you. For everything else, it’s great and super efficient!

Asparagus is difficult for me to peel in spite of the variety of veggie peelers I throw at it. This KitchenAid peeler has made an unpleasant task almost effortless. Even the skinnier asparagus stalks peel easily with this tool. Kudos to KA for the blade guard included with this peeler; the other junk in the utensil drawer can't dull it. This peeler is only used for one thing, so it doesn't get used a lot, but so far it has remained sharp and without rust.

This thing is sharp. It feels great in the hand and the quality feels like a well made product.

Es de buena calidad y funciona muy bien

Superó mis expectativas, yo lo compré para lo básico, es decir, pelar frutas y verduras pero la navaja es tan buena que puede cortar alimentos suaves como quesos sin crear un desastre. Le doy 100/100. Eso sí, tengan mucho cuidado porque la navaja tiene mucho filo. Se nota cañón la calidad de Kitchen Aid.
