Purchased by request of my 11 year old. He found these on Amazon himself, and said they were the most sour... I'm assuming he knew that based on reviews or product description. He wanted sour candies to take to school and trick his friends to see their sour faces. Once it first goes in your mouth it tastes weird, and you're looking around like ok so now what. Then BAM your whole mouth turns inside out and you can barely fight the urge to keep the candy in. You're drooling, and your eyes go lopsided. Pretty sure I teared up. After the sour torture you have a pleasant little hard candy to enjoy. He had so much fun seeing everyone's reactions.

Painfully sour on a delicious level. One. That’s all I can do squinting and squirming the whole way. I don’t know how folks are keeping them in their mouth until the sour wears off. I can’t!!!It’s bumming me out I have to wait two days for my tongue to heal before I can have another one.LOVE IT!

I had really high hopes for these. I thought the blue raspberry flavor would be good. I thought the sourness would be good and I thought I would enjoy them overall. But I did not. Yes they are extremely sour but literally for 30 seconds. After that the sourness is gone. I also gave one of these to a friend and told them it was very sour and they put it in their mouth. Not knowing what it would do they said that it actually burned the skin on the roof of their mouth. I guess they held the sour ball tied up against it and it possibly had a chemical reaction kind of like if you have hot cheese from a pizza stick to the top of your mouth and it burns it. That's what they told me happened to them. I personally did not have this experience. But the fact that the sourness is only strong for 30 seconds is highly disappointing. The clear plastic baggie that they come packaged in it sketch. Not to mention they leave a nasty film\taste on your mouth \ teeth that evening brushing or mouthwash does not remove. I think the ones I received were stale. The assortment fruit version were similar to a lilopop and sour exterior. These had a sour exterior and soft stale texture underneath

Its been so to long since ive had s good sour this is an amazing candy. I am disappointed it only lastsed for about 7 or 8 seconds. The sour candy core is a nice litte touch. Candy seems to be a touch more fragile than jolly ranchers and I'd like it to try a gummy next.

First things first, these things are *incredibly* sour. They start that way, then build to more sour with a salty note, then become downright nasty. It’s an insult to your taste buds, honestly. Our tongues were still raw the next day (we only had one a piece and it was late evening…all three of us are veterans to the sour candy game, no noobs present). So, sour? Emphatically YES.But are they ‘good’? Not especially, no. They have a fizzy center which was kind of nostalgic. But flavor afterwards was almost nonexistent. Usually with a blue raspberry candy you have that nice tartness for the rest of the candy. Not here. It was almost like what I would imagine hard candy to taste like that had no flavoring added at all. Just sugar. And we could still taste other things after; our tongues weren’t so raw we couldn’t. There just…wasn’t much to taste with these once the citric acid was gone.So they aren’t flavorful, no. But if you’re going for shock factor, these are a good purchase. But after the sour is gone, so is most of the enjoyment.

These things are sour! Normal people could only have two and then, the third one will make you feel like your tongue is being burnt with acid. ( In a good way, but a bit painful and unbearable). The sour part stays on for like a minute or so, depending on how roughly you actually suck on the candy. Then it’s just a normal hard candy that’s sweet and that has some type of fizz in the middle. I love sour candy, however I think this pack is going to last me a very long time because my tongue is begging for me not to touch that candy again.

Had a small urge to quit during the first bit of extreme sour. Stuck through until the sweet blue raspberry flavor flavor kicked in. Was enjoying the respit from the sour when the fizz started kicking in, providing a nice stream of continuous mild/moderate sourness. All in all the best sour candy I've had (since all the store bought for candies aren't very sour), though my tongue is definitely a bit raw after just one
