Great product, instructions could be a little better but if you have any mechanical ability at all and can read pictures then you can figure it out. Really helps to have another person to help install it. Goes on in about 20 minutes. Very stout. On my GMC Canyon you can barely see any of it. I pulled a trailer right away after I installed it. As happy as I can be with it. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

This is the second one I’ve bought but for good reason. The first one got damaged in an accident but because of the hitch along with the spare tire behind it managed to take a 40 mph impact and drive away. Old hitch could’ve been reused but had straightened and I’m sure lost strength l. I can definitely say I’ve pulled plenty with it though such as a pontoon boats, flatbeds with cars, and a seedling trailer. I’ve probably overloaded it a few times. It’s a two person job to install any way you do it and a bottle jack will make install much easier. All bolts line up well as I know this can be a problem with other brands.

This hitch is very stout and while it took a bit of finagling to get installed, I love it. One word of caution. The instructions that came with it seemed to be for an earlier version. At first I thought I was missing parts, as the instructions indicated more nuts & bolts than came with it, but all the necessary hardware was there. Apparently there was a slight redesign.

The hitch looks nice after installed. Not very noticeable since the main bracket sits behind the bumper. Hints to make the installation easy 1) balance a 2x2 on floor jack then balance the hitch on the 2x2. Slid the hitch under the truck in position then raised it up till holes aligned aligned on one side and partially install bolts. Then support the other side with a jack stand and reposition floor jack. 2). To install the bolts and its anti-rotation bracket in the frame channel, fish them through the far hole. The hole closest is too small for the bolt. Took me less than 1 hour to install.

I guess you can't expect these thing to fit EVERY vehicle perfectly. My '08 GMC Canyon needed to be drilled to get the 2 vertical bolts in. The 4 horizontal bolts fit perfectly. It was a pain to drill, better to weld it in.

Installation went better than expected. Wasn't happy to see I had to take the bumper bolts out to install and worried that would be the major problem. However they loosened easier than expected given the age of the truck and the rust. Get Lucky once in a awhile. Meets my needs.

I got this for my 2006 Colorado and it fit like factory! The best feature of it is that the frame of the hitch hides within the chassis, making the hitch dicreet. It was a little troublesome to install, but I saved $150! I would reccomend it.

This hitch fit my Chev Colorado pickup perfectly! It was a bit of a chore to install it, especially if you don't have a vehicle hoist. A bit awkward working under a vehicle on your back but hey, I managed to do it myself, but it is really a two person job. Directions are good, product comes complete with all the bolts, nuts and washers needed for installation. I like that it is very solid and well built, heavy though. I highly recommend it!
