Can I use this with my Singer 2259?

Since the Singer Flower Stitch Presser Foot Attachment for Low-Shank Sewing Machines is for low shank sewing machine, it should be compatible with the Singer model 2259, which is a Low Shank sewing machine. Since the Singer model 2259 does not have the Drop Feed feature, you will need to use the Darning plate when using this presser foot. We always recommend when using any presser foot for the first time, you do this simple test before sewing. 1)-Attach the presser foot 2)-Lower the presser foot 3)-Hand turn the hand wheel at least 4-6 times to make sure the needle is clearing the presser foot correctly.

Will this make 2.5" circles? And will it make circles with a basic straight stitch? I actually don't need floral or fancy designs.

A little tricky but worth it!

I've never tried a sewing attachment like this before but was pretty pleased with the results. It took some practice before felt comfortable. Also watched a few videos. Pretty nice to have.

To use this attachment a lot of preparation is needed with the fabric you choose and iron on backing. It works very well and I was pleased with the result although I think I was asking too much from my sewing machine which is very basic. A more advanced sewing machine is called for and this is on my Wish list.

Good little accessory

Hopefully it lasts as it does feel kind of cheap. But then I’ve noticed all my singer feet don’t seem as well made as my Janome or Husqvarna machines are. I use my singer for travel.
