Great Potassium substitute for KCl
I use this instead of Potassium chloride in my own low calorie (and better tasting!) version of "Gatorade." Yes, you can consume it safely. KCl has a nasty after-taste (at least, to me) and the original "Gatorade" actually uses this to provide Potassium in their product.

Package arrived intact and sealed nothing fancy.

No issues
As advertised and the price is good. I have no way to evaluate the purity however.

Contaminated (with some kind of detergent?)
Making a 10X phosphate buffer. 234 g of this potassium phosphate added to 4L purified water and 48g of potassium phosphate dibasic. The dibasic was added to the water first and dissolved. However, when I added this monobasic potassium phosphate, it foamed up and formed a rather stable layer of foam. This doesn't happen with other potassium phosphate monobasic that I've used. The vessel was clean and well rinsed with type 3 water before use. I've used the same dibasic potassium phosphate before without issue with other brands of potassium phosphate monobasic to make the same buffer stock. The foam formed when this potassium phosphate monobasic was added to the dibasic potassium phosphate (making a pH=6, 10x buffer stock). The foam in the picture is after it sat for ten minutes.

It's monopotassium phosphate, regent grade. Not much more to say than that.
Reagent grade. Comes in a sturdy bottle with proper labeling. Was sealed in plastic bag and had a seal that you must remove on the mouth of the jar so not much chance of spillage. I got this to mix my own phosphate solution. The price they want for the commercial stuff is ridiculous. This bottle cost around 2x, but will make literally 100x + more than the premade stuff at the pet store.
