I need an extra battery for a fenix pd36r 1600 flashlight

Any 21700 lithium battery will work in this flashlight.

Will it support 16650 batteries?

Yes it will. I use for 16650, 18650 and 21700. It's a great charger.

Are the charge bays long enough to be able to handle button topped 21700 batteries? The button tops are a bit longer than the flat tops.
