Mine last about 18 months if they are only used in my house.

Both (MK and DEKA) are the same specifications, dimensions and capacity made by East Penn Battery

Q: Is this a deep cycle battery?

I've been told a deep cycle battery is designed to be run dead and recharged over and over so based on that information it is a deep cycle battery
