Great for holding the string trimmer while you are fixing it.

Don’t understand why previous reviewers said the magnets were weak. Magnets are strong and stay in the vice as required. The blue anodize is an added bonus, very nice, durable; should last a long time.

I really like the three large magnets in each piece; they hold surprisingly well. These are *only* ceramic magnets but due to their large size, they hold the pieces in place FAR better than the TINY neodymium magnets in the other soft jaws that I have. The Vee cuts are a good fit on AN-style fittings and the anodizing is very durable.

Made putting AN fittings together much much easier, a must have now that I've found these I can't do without them!

For a DIYer at home I've had zero issues with the dozen or more lines I've put together.

Perfectly securely holds round objects, perfect for work on guns.

Like everyone else probably viewing this vise protectors, I was looking for something to hold a barrel while fighting a barrel nut. I don't care for plastic one since they deform and eventually become useless. So I took a chance with these.DANG HAPPY I DID!!! In my attached pic you can see a 5.56 case sitting in one to give it some scale. These are considerably heavier duty than I expected. Magnets hold nicely to the vise too. Just put a piece of leather between these and they make barrel servicing quick and simple.

Jaws worked well for assembling AN fittings. I placed the hose in the jaw in order to thread the fitting onto the hose. Shifted this assembly into the jaw to hold the fitting. Then installed the internal component of the fitting.

Holds round stock firmly and securely in the bench vise. An excellent tool for the money.

Great clamp for my 10AN Fittings, doesn't damage or ruin the finish of the Aluminum!
