Easy to fit. Plug and play.....it just works!

Surpised it's over 10 years old, but it works fine for now. Perhaps I hadn't realised they would be this old. Is anyone makeing them new these days?

i like the idea of the stone drive which will be useful though not used for now. it was a much-needed addition to my desktop which came without one

OK, I admit it. I was an idiot... I bought this drive because I thought it was what I needed and because I have past experience of this drive. Unfortunately, I actually needed a 9.5mm drive, so this didn't come anywhere near being the right thing. If only there had been some documentation with the workstation to tell me that the part of the machine that looked just like this was actually a housing! Still I am happy to say that I have used these drives often and they are always excellent. I can also say that the return process was no quibble, simple, free, and efficient even though I had ordered by mistake. Good product, good service, and I am grateful for the excellent return policy which they lived up to in every way. Highly recommended.

Works perfectly as a player and to backup your music on CDRs

I was unable to burn CDs and tried all the software fixes to no avail. Even though the drive was supposed to be working properly (according to report on my PC) I thought I’d try a replacement and didn’t want to spend a lot in case it didn’t work. Anyway, easy to install and works just fine. Perhaps a hint of some noise when operating as reported in other reviews but no problem with my burning activities. Overall very pleased.

La Dritta in Più Poiché è un'unità "Bare Drive" (OEM), assicuratevi di controllare nella scatola della vostra scheda madre se avete un cavo dati SATA avanzato. Se non ne avete uno, dovete comprarlo a parte per pochi euro, altrimenti quando arriverà il pacco non potrete collegare il masterizzatore al PC!
