Sharpie Twin Tip Permanent Markers, Fine and Ultra Fine, Black, 12 Count

I bought these because who hasn’t needed to write or mark a fine line and all you had was a sharpie. When I bought the box, I put a lot of trust in the company’s designers… they did not let me down. by now most people know the alcohol trick if a sharpie dries out, but the other thing I realized was a permanent marker without a tip could be a menace to clothes, surfaces etc. I expected the fine tip’s top to fit over the ultra fine, but the snugness was a surprise. However, it was with some trepidation, that I tried the ultra fine cap over the fine cap - lo and behold - it worked. Now I am not sure it would take a ton of abuse or jostling…but the fact is the engineers got this right. whether it is a quick architectural drawing with wide and skinny lines or marking crowns and cut lines - this pen is really nice. I have no intention to give up my pica pencils, but this will absolutely be in the truck and the tool bag. My next question which will take time is what is the ink like inside. if one side looses the cap, does the other side dry out? or if one side runs out of ink, is the other any good? after I use them for a while, I will edit the review. at this point though this is an inexpensive, 2n1 option that covers a ton of bases. I recommend it!

I stand by the fact that these are the best sharpies that sharpie makes. I love the fact that you can choose between tips on one pen, and yeah they're just great for everything!!

When I received the order it had over half the Sharpies missing. I was very upset as my child needed them that week for school. It was after 7 pm when I got my order, and I contacted Amazon immediately not expecting to get it fixed right away. The next day I sent the box back. They made it right and got a new box full with the correct amount of sharpies the same day I sent the box back! They started working on it that night when I put in the request. I'm glad to say that anytime I have had an issue Amazon has always made it right. In about 1,000 orders over the years I've only had and issue with products maybe 7 times. The sharpies are great! They have the wide tip on one end and very fine tip on the other end.

The twin tip is the only way to go!!

I like the fact that I have 2 to choose from. I write on big tags and sometimes Some small tags where it requires a finer point.

I purchased this 12-pack of twin tip Sharpies for $10 several days ago. I see the price is now over $16. Don't fall for these crazy pricing tactics. I'm a huge fan of Sharpie markers, and of Sharpie pens. Sharpie PENS don't bleed at all on the page or through the page the way these markers do. But the bleeding isn't too bad and these are great markers overall. They do however bleed all the way through at least a couple pages, so I have to put a couple extra pages underneath my drawings. Since I use both fine tip and ultra fine tip, this purchase seemed like a reasonable solution. I use these markers to label my handmade aromatherapy products, and to draw/doodle with. These Sharpies are perfect for many different uses!

Welcome to Prepared Minimalist. Today we will be reviewing the Sharpie markers twin tips which I received from Amazon as the seller. A writing tool is a great item to have no matter where you are and a sharpie, with two tips no less, is possibly the best writing tool to have (with a close second to a Rite in the Rain pen). The dual sided sharpie allows one to chose from a pen size tip, or a regular size marker tip. While it does smell quite a bit using it for a period of time...bonus points for a scentless marker... it does what it is intended to do. It's mostly 'permanent' though it does fade over time if you get it on your hands. Alcohol and WetOne Wipes do not remove the marker off plastic at all, and it goes without saying that it does stain clothes since stain removers don't work either. The Sharpie box has the seal of approval for being non toxic though it's not recommended to hand these over to young children to draw permanent pictures on walls. There has been also cases of people sniffing on these and getting high? At least it's stated not toxic! The box is a twelve pack and all twenty four tips worked out of the box. I placed one in my pants as an every day carry item, one in my first aid kit in my room, one in my backpack, and one on my desk. While I didn't paint an entire page black with one of these markers, they have worked without fail on a variety of material and lasts for awhile of use. The caps do click tight so one shouldn't worry about them popping open in one's pocket accidentally. I personally prefer the pen side more since it basically writes bold compared to if I was writing with my other pen, but the regular marker side is good to make signs or make sure someone far away can see. As stated before, it would be ideal for them to have this as unscented. While it's a tolerable smell, using it long term can cause headaches for some. As advertised it does work on most surfaces though it would be nice to know what surfaces it won't work on before writing on something and finding out in the process that there is more ink on your hands rather than on the surface. A grip on the marker could be a plus for some as well. I will update this at a later time to calculate how quickly I go through a box, and what materials specifically don't work with this. Kaufe meist 1 mal im Jahr ein Paket von diesen Markern. Ultra praktisch mit der dünnen und der dicken Spitze. Markieren und Schreiben in einem. Bin im Veranstaltungsbereich tätig wo man oft beide Größen nebeneinander brauchen kann. Zur Langlebigkeit kann ich nur sagen dass sie bei mir bis jetzt immer vor Ende ihrer Lebenszeit bei Kollegen als "Dauerleihgabe" gelandet sind... Im Gegensatz zu Konkurrenzprodukten besteht die Hülle aus Plastik. Sie verbeulen daher nicht was ich als großen Pluspunkt sehe. Absolute Kaufempfehlung.
